Webb: I won't get hurt
Mitchel: Really? Oh that's good!
@@nachtegaelw5389 I cant find a video of this sketch anywhere, remember seeing it ages ago.
Joshmas it’s the first one on this video: ua-cam.com/video/Gzvuyo0GuAA/v-deo.html
I think I have multiple postings of it bookmarked 😂
So... do you wanna get in the sub? Only 250000 quid.
It HATES being the cage always gets me
This is a lot more expensive than jumping off a cliff with roughly the same results.
Tried to stop him.
"If I were to let him out of the cage, who's to say what he'll do" reminds me of Michael Palin in the Dead Parrot Sketch: "If I hadn't nailed that bird down...."
"Really? Oh that's good"
That Mitchell and Webb look saw it first
And people say that swimming with sharks in cages I is a bad idea. It's political correctness...I mean, health and safety legislation, gone mad!! Damn nanny state
I like the part where Crisp acts shocked that hes going through with it.
That necklace is tight af
This guy is adventurous first cliff jumping then swimming with a shark in a cage and then the rapids with his son where do I find a guy like this so dedicated to try things 😂🤣😂🤣
I would love to know what low-budget practical effects were used for the cage and the bubbles.
@@michaelk.jensen1611 Most likely a specially trained BBC stunt shark, so it doesn't get frightened of all the lights and camera crew
and now you know the origins of futurama's suicide booths
"STOP IT OWEN"
This is from a BBC documentary about life on English rivers...
Darwin Awards : The business model.
at least he delivers the experience he advertised
“Farewell and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies. Farewell and adieu to you ladies of Spain.”
Awesome. I was trying to remember the song Robert Shaw sang after that "You go in the cage? Cage goes in the water?..." bit. Thanks
It's a good business plan, you might not get any repeat customers but you won't get any negative reviews.
That rusty cage lid sure brings back some "fond" memories from Apprehension...
Of course it's a real shark!
He could have just swam outside the cage and looked in on the shark... Probably would have been less funny though.
@@SilverSpade92 And from this sketch, I deduce that the law doesn't apply to areas within cages. For example, laws against owning a shark, or using live humans as chum.
@@handsomebrick That's correct, although the cage jurisdiction laws are enforced by the EU. If Britain pulls out of the EU, shark husbandry may become a thing of the past, unfortunately.
I don't know, England has some freaky people. I wouldn't but shark sex past them. That is what husbandry is, right?
@@NateSean I hope not as husbandry is also growing crops and if it is then I'm not sure I want to know where crops come from
Called the shark Owen 😭🤣
Fast forward to now.
Well the sign says FDA approved..it's alright!
Is this where they filmed that episode of only fools when Albert goes missing??
Mitchell haircut🤣🤣
Brilliant
Dodgy David is looking rough
Fucking love how much they say 'the cage'
0:15 really lost the accent there for a sec
Is this Bristol?
How is this not a real thing? You'd have thought Florida would have monopolized this by now. (I mean the shark being inside the cage with you part)
Wonderful chum that guy...
Based off the thumbnail, I thought I was going to watch a Sopranos clip
the value of ideas,becaushe why?
Is that the guy than runs Flamingo Island?
Couldn’t he just get in the water next to the cage???
Yes, and instead of skydiving you could just look out the airplane window. But how are you going to brag to your buddies that you swam with a shark if you then have to admit the shark was in a cage and you were just outside looking? Might as well just go visit an aquarium.
Brokers teaching trading to new comers.
"Not native to the UK"
Well, actually... They are occasionally spotted off the UK coast.
heheheh
I wonder what would actually happen. I feel the shark would be terrified and only kill by accident
You go in the cage, cage goes in the water, shark's in the water... Farewell and adieu, to you fair Spanish ladies...
'Owen'?!
Farewell and adieu..
"You go in the cage. Cage go in the water. Shark sees the cage".....or whatever the fuck.
Isn't that Shaw and Dreyfus in Jaws?
You go in the cage, cage goes in the water, shark's in the water! I just commented that haha. Great scene. :)
I don't think you could fit an adult G.W.S. in there.
I don't remember this in peep show
Is that it?
ooni sux
Actually, sharks need to swim to imbibe oxygen. Keeping one in a cage would asphyxiate it in a matter of seconds. He'd be swimming with a dead shark.
You can clearly see the shark thrashing about. Shows what you know about sharks in cages. Pah!
Thrashing about in a static position will do nothing to move water through the gills of the animal. To maintain a consistent flow rate, they need _room_ to swim.
+emlmm88 I'm sad to inform you that ElectricJohnny passed away at 2.30am yesterday morning
Couldn't you just swim around the cage? Same experince and you would live

Haha first! no but seriously one of the best ones i think :)

repeat after me: waTer, waTer, waTer with a T, not waer 😁
This is a very, very bad version of the jump down the cliff sketch. Almost a bit disappointed
I love David Mitchell's shady Cockney accent characters. He plays the dopey idiot part really well haha
