    All I can think about when I see this is how depleted our oceans are becoming and how invasive species like the Asian carp are over running the rivers in my region and I think...too bad we can't ship them the carp.

    Octopus can reproduce offspring easily so even 2 pairs were left in the ocean is enough. But having said, my question is how long? Humans really are the greateat predator on earth.

      At least its Octopus and not a dog. Well from a western point of view. My issue though is how Japan (Asian) can justify hunting and killing whales for the only purpose of eating them and stating it is for 'Scientific Purposes'. Either way, Asians are just going to eat everything and anything and make EVERY thing extinct because they don't care about anything but food.

    the destructive results of sweeping the ocean floor for octopus surely outweighs the lack of nutritional benefits, well, maybe except for the overweight gluttons that thrive on all you can eat asian buffets as they'd be happy with plastic and oyster sauce. or the little weenee guys that think the octopus have some weenee growing power, like shark fin soup, it might help them out some, gives them some hope.

    This is sad truly you all don't realize the oceans are dying because of practices like this do you really believe you can continually harvest animals out of it like this daily and they will just always be there. In a few years maybe 20 won't be any thing left in the oceans except water

    • @jucklowe

    • @Justthemow
      @Justthemow 5 років тому

      Up to my nuts in guts I'm No snowflake fuktard I live in the Louisiana swamp land born and raised to hunt and fish but this kind of "harvesting" is detrimental to our future. You see they have no limits there where they live its catch everything and don't worry about the next generation. We have limits here 20 trout per day 3 reds 5 duck have to put rings in our cab traps to let out the juveniles pull them up for winter and a month each year for spawning season no berry crabs or virgin females things to keep the population strong for future generation.

    • @Justthemow
      @Justthemow 5 років тому

      krz sam this is not aquaculture I think that some aquaculture is good but some is horrible clam and oyster aquaculture is pretty good as they are filter feeders salmon and tuna is horrible they toss in tons of dry pellets they are not all eaten and turn in to nitrates and kill the surrounding wildlife vegetation octopus are not an animal that can be aquacultured

    • @jamesblade6684
      @jamesblade6684 5 років тому +1

      Don’t you realise the size of the oceans? We can only fish a tiny percentage of them. We’ll never empty the life from the ocean. Stop believing the Green propaganda - those assholes are anti-everything.
