Thanks for the review👏👏Settings such ISO and shutter speed are supported now, and it is recommended to update both firmware and App for the best performance🥰
Also does it automatically limit the length of 4k video it can record as to not over heat i mean i get that in the air on the quad it should help with heat but just wondered if it had a recording limit.
The clips on the lenses look pretty weak. That and the lens is getting kind large, not convinced this is really "thumb" size anymore, or the best form factor to use
i believe to save weight u gotta plug it into power source from either the FC board or straight to the drone battery. comes with a small wire harness and diagram showing u how to solder it up
I don't know about the original Thumb, but the Thumb Pro has a microphone. Not a very good one, but a microphone nonetheless. I would know, I've bought 3 of them because they aren't very durable. They do record decent footy for lightweight builds, though. I'll probably buy one of these just for the USB-C.
Only watched the footage of the flight. Not that great of quality. Not sure if it needs an ND filter or some camera settings adjusted but could be good if tweeked just right. Also seems to have a very narrow FOV.
According to the website and manual, it's only when you are on a still status, if you are not flying. To prevent the camera from exceeding 96 Celsius and burning.
Definitely the best salesman in the fpv drone world!
just want to say, you nailed the proper length for an intro animation. ~200 frames at 60fps
Does it use the same power source as the original.. I’d like to upgrade the existing one I have on my TinyHawk Freestyle .. 😀.. Thanks for the review

When new fw was released???
Shutter speed option has appeared in the latest app version!

New update on the runcam app with more options (ISO and shutter speed) is there new firmware too?
Thank you. Your videos are always interesting and so funny. Keep it up.
Any overheating issues like the thump pro w? 😄
Should be able to also power it from those usbC to balance lead connectors . (The ones that ppl use for gopro de-battery)
Can I use filters from the previous version pro v2?
No
14:50 is this recorded from RunCam Thumb 2 ?
Is it still so fragile as the only thumb pro? I gave up on the old version after breaking 3 of them

Think I might be swapping from my session 5, cheers @drainman!
Man do you ever check your comments I got a drone and a controller I can’t get it going
Does it have its own battery or is it only powered when plugged in?

These usually need to be powered by a 5v pad

both previous versions have microphones. I would not have taken them seriously, and I have no use for a microphone, but they have them.
4k at 60 fps is awesome! Too bad there's no option to change the ISO and shutterspeed. Will be waiting for firmware updates
Link don't work
ND filters with the camera would make a great selling point for $99.

I hope it is raw fotage without stabilisation...
Because if it stabilised - it sucks....
It's not much different from the Runcam 5 Orange.
Good review, Thanks. But video at the end looks overexposed and plain.
Haha yes. He hyped me up so much for the cam that the footage at the end was a total anticlimax
Looks plane?! You mean like a plane flying? Maybe cos he put the camera on a drone?!
@@ragndroneman 😆😆🤣🤣😂😂 Yep like that
