That thing was a two stage and it didn't seem to drop down into low stage after fire off. The two stage likely isn't even turned on at the control board! I've seen this Goodman scam done many many times to people. People sell them a two stage furnace and don't turn on the 2nd stage!
Happened to a friend of mine. They were also sold a tankless water heater that didn't work right. Solid 3 minutes to get hot water (calling it hot was a stretch too) out of it, and the kitchen sink was only about 15' of pipe away from the thing.
If building new today, which 80+ furnace is recommended? And if having 2 zones, does it make sense to use two separate furnaces instead of zone dampers and a control unit?
Because they wanna keep non-technicians out of it not everybody has the tools to get into the cabinet and they won’t go out and buy them. They will just call a HVAC company to come look at it or repair it.
90+ is so sensitive won't run right if panel not on a 100% tight! WOW CRAZY Mom's 1980 must be a 70+ runs without a door no electronics no flame sensor!
We never had a sump pump, who fixed the sump pump, we never had one😂
she's got a couple of flippin screws loose Steve 😂😂😂
Nice when they are quick and easy especially if you are covered up with calls. Thanks for the video. Stay safe out there.
Must be something in the air today. Your buddy Mikey Pipes had the same video today, door switch not engaging. LOL.
The sump pump wasn’t workin cause she didn’t have one, mama!!
Thanks Steve hope you and miss molly and family have a great thanksgiving thanks for the video

@@natgasf7236 Yes. Very shameful.

Interesting that street 90 into the gas control valve would not pass inspection in my area
there not allowed here either
miss molly playing catch me if you can... lmao
Old coot. What a hoot
How about that, a flame sensor with easy access. Can't stop a Good Man.
How did you get it to fire up with the cover off? Jump the safety switch somehow?
While your there why don't you clean the flame sensor
These customers think Steve gets upset when it’s something simple the easier the happier he is
Hello Steve!
Mini Spit and heatpump water tank 😝
Hello Steve
Steve has all the older ladies calling him in the winter, they want him to come over and keep them warm, Steve is going to be busy this winter........
why don't manufactures use thumb screws for the doors.

That furnace had thumb screws in place when it left the factory. What's there now is not original.
@@uxwbill No it didn't I think the new ones might.
Steven, don't forget to take the turkey out of the freezer to thaw it.
I’m hearing they maybe phasing out 80+ furnaces? I hope not !
Just wanted to see me and then the pump conversation starts just coincidence?

I would have thought that 90% are sealed combustion, no visable flame??
the top over panel seals it up there is a rubber gasket under panel for sealing
"Molly" needs time off, Steve gets mad...
Molly needs a day off once in a while
