Oh yeah, PLEASE AVOID POSTING LIBRARY OF RUINA SPOILERS IN HERE! This video is designed for people who plan on playing it, and all the events depicted here are portrayed close to the info that was delivered in LOB CORP, with any further revelations from LoR intentionally cut out. Please respect the intent of the video, and don't spoil. Thank you, have a good day
You think you can make a Library of Ruina one once you finish it? My friend has this weird belief of "A series is only as good as its latest game" because he's played multiple series that dissolve from amazing games to cheap cash grabs and wants to play Limbus Company to see if the Project Moon series is good. I'd like for him to get with the lore at least a little bit before diving into Limbus Company once it comes out so e can fully experience it. Please?
I'm planning on making a longer form series in this style for Library once I'm finished with the game. It'll be a while until then, but it's definitely coming down the pipeline.
My favourite part of Lobotomy Corporation is when Malkuth goes "It's malkin time" and proceeds to malk all over the facility instantly defeating White Night
This ending made me wanna punch her so, so badly. Partly because I got interested in the series after watching a video about the story of roland and saw one of the consequences
You got stuff wrong there. 1- Cogito is not a produced substance it is extracted from the source, which is the well. After Carmen became the bucket, they got access to tons more. And Carmen herself requested her body be used that way, hence why he didn't save her, though she remains "alive" as the bucket, so she never really died properly. 2- Enoch was lookin for a reason to be alive, always questioning existence, most likely affected from all the trauma he faced in the outskirts, hence he didn't fear death and participated in the experiment, wishing to die in a happy place is not really a stated wish of his, you could interpret a desire to die I guess, but it was more like he was constantly wondering what's the purpose of being alive, and that carried over to his Sephira form, which kept causing the malfunctions when he started to question existence. 3- Not exactly mistaken, but just adding to your info on Gabriel. A thought he had been affected by something in the lab, because of his erratic behavior, and forcefully conducted a check on him, heavily restrained to make sure everything was alright. After he was let go, he became even more paranoid, and most likely teared open his own throat in his fits of scratching. 4- The head can, and will fuck with a wing if they break a rule of the city, their might is nothing compared to the head's. We are never told the specifics of how A managed to avoid being seen by the head, thanks to whatever info Garion's brain had, but becoming a corporation was not the sole reason they stopped looking, or else moving the main lab super deep below the surface wouldn't have been necessary. (Also, the fact that a wing war was fought to take over the old L-corp is not really touched upon in LC, so this might be a bad thing to bring up as a summary for LoR, when it's alluded more in said game, and side material like distortion detective and wonderlab.) 5- Not really a mistake, but wanted to specify, the time loop tech was acquired thanks to them financing time rewind tech T-corp had until it could rewind much further than before, thus making an enclosed loop. 6- The splits are not actually properly present, they aren't purposeful creations, they are mere "mirror images" that reflect a state of mind A was having, essentially an emotion or guilt, and entering Kether had him face these reflections, which is basically his mind trying to find an excuse to turn back with Abel, just keep suffering with or give up with Abram, finish the project as is and turn the world into abnormalities with Adam by fooling himself into thinking this is what Carmen truly wished and that it was righteous, and finally after facing himself and learning from what he heard from the Sephira to push through, his mind is healed and he is back to normal. The whole facility is a construct extracted from his mind, hence why it can be expanded so quickly too. Ayin isn't even a split, it is basically his actual self. Ayin also never elaborates properly on what the light would do specifically upon meeting him, even after you finish LC you can sorta get an loose idea, which is expanded upon in LoR. Abram didn't truly wish to die, he resigns himself to death after you fail during his day, otherwise he wished to be eternally punished for his sins. Also, the "disease" they want to combat is never specified in Lobotomy corporation, we know they were trying to cure something thanks to one of A's flashbacks, but they never say anything particular for us to know what or why it has to be cured, we just know the light would bestow "redemption" upon the people outside. It's not elaborated upon until Library of Ruina, when Yesod talks more on it. Otherwise, I like the style of presentation on it.
Did they ever explain what happened to Michelle? It seemed like ayin forgot about her and just continued on, but idk how he made her robot if he didn’t know what happened
Its heavily implied that the disease of the mind there trying to cure is nihilism a lot of the characters who have back stories in the wings seem to suffer from a small case of it.
“If you remember my previous comment about A being High-Functioning, it’s not high functioning Autism -it’s sociopathy.” Made me laugh harder than it had any right to. My gosh, I hope to remember that quote for the rest of my life; it’s too funny to forget.
one minute in and I've already caused myself organ and limb damage from my autism rescting to seeing gabriel ultrakill pop up just as i was unfunnily thinking "haha is this an ultrakill reference"
I'm glad to hear it! Library is legitimately one of the BEST games I've ever played. Lob Corp is more niche, but still well worth a try. If you're curious about picking them up, they should go on sale on steam during the holidays. That said, Library is $30 full price, which is a steal considering how much content there is, and the healthy modding community. Hope you enjoy it!
A couple things I want to note by around a third of the way into the video: 1. There’s a District for Z, it isn’t the Outskirts, it’s just not ever mentioned or shown beyond people basically saying ‘oh yeah that thing exists’ 2. Garion LITERALLY just got done destroying a whole Wing right before going to the Outskirts lab
Lmao I just beat the game like 3 days ago 100% 236 hours 100% abnormality dissolusion Completely deathless (aside from the 12 sacrifices for WhiteNight) Worth it
Ah yes, lobotomy corporation. A game that tormented me for months and still have completed it. A game that teach me a few things, 1) magical girl are born to suffer, 2) how dangerous infectious disease(read as slime) can be, and 3) trains are made by psychopath.
Playing through lobcorp myself, having a cutscene every once in a while, almost all of the story out of order was really confusing so this helped clear a lot of things up, thanks
This game is pain and I love it entirely too much. But seriously, GIVE IT A TRY IF IT FEELS LIKE IT COULD BE YOUR THING, game actually incredibly good if you enjoy management sims and failure until you become a hellish badass.
I really hope that warning at the start gets people to play Lobotomy Corporation. If I get to remake this video at some point in the future (maybe before the next game after Limbus comes out?) I'm definitely gonna put a lot more work into the initial warning. Maybe give a few details of the game to entice people or something.
@@Word46 For sure. I remember when writing the Let's Play I made I said expressly that much of the game's charm is from facing monsters that you don't know what do so to try it a bit first if it seems AT ALL like your thing. Because the game relies so much on being a black box to deliver the true experience, it's hard to recommend without hurting some portion of it, on some level. x.x
@@Word46 Far be it from me to ever be upset with anyone who wants to tell me stuff. God knows I'm impossible to contact otherwise-I once left a twitter message on read for 2 months because lol checking twitter. XD
For me it's about time and place. If that same comment was on my discord I'd be fine with it and like actually chat, but UA-cam comments, let alone the UA-cam REPLIES to a completely unrelated conversation, are not the place for blog posts.
Might be a little late to this project moon stuff but, this storyline is actually so insanely interesting (if only the games didn’t make me want to actually tear my eyes out..)
Leaning the lore of Lobotomy Corporation so you can play library of ruina Then you have me, who plays both games simultaneously and tries to piece together the lore as I slowly make progress through both games
I watched this video because after playing 5 hours of Lobotomy Corporation I was sure it just wasn't for me and I didn't think the time committment to see the game through fully was worth it. After finishing it I got the feeling that while I *knew* about the characters now, I didn't really feel connection to them, I didn't truly experience their stories. So I thought I'd watch the cutscenes just to shore up my knowledge and get more of a feel for the characters. Fuck mate, I should've done that first. Some of the plot twists would've blown me away had I gone in blind. And interspersing the cutscenes with gameplay of the bossfights really gave those character moments the climactic feeling they deserve. This is a great summary, but now I'm left wishing I watched it last so that I could make sure everything made sense in my head. Lobotomy Corporation is REALLY good if you're someone who gets on well with the gameplay. And I wish I'd experienced it as intended now. Either way, I'm as ready to finally play Library of Ruina as I could possibly be!
HAH, a real fixer lets Runia rot in their library as they mald over trying to beat those last five days seriously I've been stuck at it for so long I just wanna be-
Fun theory I have about the themes of the two most important abnormalities in the game: *White Night* is the physical representation of the character A, and everything he has done. *One Sin and Hundreds of Good Deeds* is the physical manifestation of then-Carmen, now-Angela. Carmen was potentially the only human left with the purity of soul to truly want what's best for the rest of humanity, and to work towards it at no benefit to herself, hence the hundreds of good deeds. Her one sin, of course, was her funtime bathtub adventure, resulting in her death, hence the skull. Her one sin chronologically manifested into the creation of Angela, Angela who would eventually permanently end A's eternal cycle of torment and steal his light for herself, because a guy like A doesn't get a happy ending. This is why One Sin and Hundreds of Good Deeds can instantly contain White Night, it is extremely subtle foreshadowing of Angela's betrayal. White Night being a representative of A should be fairly obvious. It takes 12 people under its literal wing, who otherwise would have been out and about minding their own business, and turns 11 of them into horrible monsters that go on to commit terrible atrocities and turn the world around them into hell. The 12th person, however, is a traitor who take's the side of One Sin, and helps One Sin to suppress White Night and the 11 monsters. Upon first play, one would assume this traitor to be Michelle/Hod, however that doesn't fit for a multitude of reasons. However, because of Library of Ruina spoilers that I will not divulge here, we know that there actually *IS* a perfect candidate for the traitor character that goes and helps ~~Carmen~~ Angela enact the "suppression" of A's ideals.
But its said that H corp was destroyed by Whiteknight directly as they were trying to tap into the power of hell to generate.... power. So Whteknight spent all of its energy to destroy them and seal that gateway to hell, and thus thats why hes the plague doctor and needs to regain power via followers.
Well, from what other theories I've seen around, people usually think the opposite. That is, Carmen is White Night and One sin is Ayin. White Night wants to bring salvation to everyone, but it turns people into monsters instead. It used to to good things, but then it transforms. It is an angelic being with red eyes. One sin is a representation of the question, is it worth to commit sins for the sake of good things in the future? Ayin is, though it might not look like it, trying to do good in the world, but for that to happen it was neccessary to torture all his friends and then force them to have an elightment (character growth). So he keeps wondering if it was worth it, while regretting becoming what he became. Carmen being One sin, wouldn't fit very well because she wasn't actually willing to commit sins for the sake of her plan. The first time someone died, she killed herself out of guilt after all. It's also possible that both are Ayin. One a representation of the forced enlightment he wants to give the city, and the other the guilt he feels for the actions he did leading up to it. He is, after all, divided in five.
Abnormalities more just shares a theme with whole Carmen and A stuff, but not directly tied to that. White Night saves everyone not because anyone needs ots salvation, but to feed its own pride, to show everyone, but most importantly itself, that it is a good person, no matter the collateral damage. The best analogy would be Adam, proud to inact Carmen's will with no though or nuance put into it, or, SPOILER, Carmen herself, for her dedinition of freedom and caring about yourself is flawed and she does it only to please herself with little to regard to the people she's "saving" One Sin is all forgiving skull that helps people to eradicate their sins if they truly seek for atonement. The best analogy would be the hell that is the Seed of Light protocol. It does atagonises the White Night but is not its counterpart, it just can completely counter its evil
Played Lobotomy Corp, got to day 30 and was proud of my toughing it out that far knowing how difficult it is. Then I had a day where the difference between me winning or losing the entire day was practically 1 frame because I made the most minor of mistakes and recognized the difficulty of the rest of the game vastly outweighed any fun I could have.
Just finished going through the Lobcorp story through compilations of the cutscenes on UA-cam, and found that I was immensely confused. This cleared up a lot of it. Super helpful. Honestly I still don’t think I really understand all the Bucket stuff, but we can’t win em all. Thank you for making such a helpful and humorous video. I’m excited to try out Library of Ruina.
Look, imma be real with you, the bucket does NOT matter for the overall story of the series. Is it cool lore stuff? Absolutely, and I'm glad there are other people out there to fill in the details, but I'm glad to talk about the actual important plot beats
Thank you so much for this video, Asking people to watch 4 1/2 hours of cutscenes or play 100+ hours of Lobotomy Corp has been the number one hurdle in convincing anyone to play Ruina.
Yeah, that was the main motivating factor when I was making this video. While I do regret certain things that got overlooked (I really should've mentioned EGO in here given how important it is in LoR) I think this still holds up as a good primer for people to play LoR. That said, I DO still hope people at least /try/ Lob Corp, but I definitely understand budget concerns and/or time issues preventing it.
Just wanted to drop a thanks for making this! I originally started Library of Ruina when it dropped on Gamepass but never got back to it cause the onboarding was rough but, more importantly, I'm the kind of person that wants to know the lore before jumping into a sequel and Lobotomy was a test lol. Now I feel confident starting it for real!
Glad to hear it! I'm really the same way, but i couldn't find a concise video on the subject, so I just up and made one to fill the gap. Thankfully it seems like the kind of thing a lot of people were looking for lol
Looking at the gameplay of Labotomy Corporation, I was pretty hesitant to try it before Ruina. But this convinced me that it's worth looking into more. Like playing Dark Souls after watching a few lore videos to give you some context. It doesn't detract from the work but builds on top of it. Thank you for making it and for keeping it entertaining!
Thank YOU for enjoying! I really hope you have a good time with Lob Corp, I'm planning on picking it back up myself at some point, although the LoR playthrough is kinda taking priority lol
@@Word46 The more i read into their lore the more it just looks like korean/asian society driven to their supernatural natural conclusion, late stage post apocalyptic fantasy capitalism
It should be said, not all abnos were made by L corp. Some where natural. Although this is only limited to the three birds that form Apocalypse Bird, WhiteKnight, the magical girls(I think, not sure on them.), and CENSORED. The Abnos that formed Apocalypse bird actually terrorized a forest in the outskirts, before they were round up and captured. The Whiteknight was an abno that was claimed from the wreckage of H corp when it was destroyed by said abno for opening a portal to hell. The Magical Girls were corrupted by their own need for friendship/justice/ext... Although I'm not sure if they are a story themselves, or they were humans that made their own cogito as every human in PJM's universe has the ability to produce cogito under the right conditions or not. CENSORED was what the old L corp used to generate energy.
Sorry for replying to an old comment, but where do you get information such as "whitenight destroyed H Corp" or "CENSORED was what L corp was using/is the smoke monster"?
@@janedoeYT The white knight thing was his old alpha lore where it was mentioned "its rumored this abno destroyed a wing that was alegedly harvesting power from hell, expending all of its power to do so." Or something like that. Censored is explained in the sequel library of ruina. Trust me it doesn't matter that you know that fact, since you can only figure that out through context clues.
I can't mention them or they appear in my house and eat all of my wooden furniture. It's very disturbing, not like in pieces, they just unhinge their jaw and swallow it whole.
It's gonna be a loooot longer than this one, since we're gonna go tier by tier instead of trying to sum up all of Library all at once. But it should also be pretty fun to get more in-depth details on the characters and events as opposed to this more general overview. Hope to see you there!
@@Word46 notifcations on and im subbed lets goooo i beat library when it first came out and did a re run this year after updates so im ready for some lore and limbus haha
I have never known the plot of Lobotomy Corporation thanks to not finishing it and that original god-awful translation, your video is a godsend of information and entertainment all wrapped up into one. I'm extremely impressed. People have suggested corrections below, but frankly I saw nothing even there that rose to the level of something that would even affect my opinion.
Thank you for the kind words! I think the corrections are in a good place as they are: Comments. Nothing that I missed or intentionally left out was so big that the video needs reworking, especially since people should understand that this is a goofy summary, not a complete transcript of the game. Hope to see you next video!
@@Word46 I couldn't tolerate it past day 27. I don't like trial and error much on the best of days, and with maybe four to six hours of free time per day due to my job? Yeah, being forced to redo days or even restart the whole run just because you made a mistake that you couldn't have predicted would be a mistake four days ago was too much, I simply could not handle it. And for it to have all been for nothing in the True Ending would probably have made me throw my computer out of the window if I had ever actually reached said ending.
Sweet! This was a good non-spoilery summary of the game to know the story beats that I might've missed to go to Library of Ruina with all the extent of the story!
Thank you for the video. I got intimidated by the game for a few years now and didn't finish it. For some reason, I was insane enough to decide to complete the game without allowing my employees to die. Through much agony and bullheaded determination, in just my first and only playthrough, I made it all the way to day 41, and cleared all the upper and middle level meltdowns, except for Chesed. Yes, I managed to clear Gebura with no deaths, and no cheese, just a straight up strategic brawl between her and my most elite men. Although I consider that fight one of the best boss fights I ever played, I got extremely burned out after it, knowing that Binah, White Night, Apocalypse Bird, and the final days are waiting for me, I got very intimidated and dropped the game. Thanks to your video tho, I finally properly understood what the hell was going on with the story, and am motivated enough to try and clear it and move on to Library of Ruina. Again, thanks a lot for the video.
Sorry to hear it didn't come out at the right time for you. I had a well informed Twitch Chat filling me in on all the details that I missed as we went, so thankfully I didn't have to piece everything together from the scattered cutscenes.
Thank you! I put a lot of effort into this video so I'm glad you're enjoying it. The Abno I had in mind with that bit was actually Norman Retus' Funky Fetus which I wouldn't eat but would like to mod out of the game lol
Ehhhh, kinda? It can be interpreted as "she processes it faster" since "perceives" is a vague word. Really should've caught that. Oh well, I'll be extra vigilant for the next video!
appreciate the video. i found lobcorp too rough around the edges to have a good time with, and after a while I spent more time bored with it than actually experiencing the story. I hear library is a lot more fun so I'll give it a shot sometime
To be fair, Lob Corp isn't exactly a game designed to have a good time with. That clicks for some people, but for a lot of us, it's just a bad time. Library is MUCH better about this.
i just finished watching a playthru of lobcorp and was a bit confused abt some things so thanks fur this video!! edit: furgot two mention but i absolutely loved some of the silly slides in the video "i will now process this in the least healthy way possible" is a mood-
This video is absolutely amazing! The editing is just wonderful, the writing is fun and the explanations are short and easy to understand, (though sometimes a little too simpified, then again, time constraints probably didn't allow otherwise) it's the perfect way for me to strip my friends of the excuse of "I can't play Libary of Ruina because I haven't played Lobotomy Corporation yet and that game seems very long and difficult". In fact, I've already used it on two of my friends and I'm planning to use it on many more, thank you very much for making this!
Yeah, time constraints were the major struggle when it came to this one. Due to it being a "Summary" I'm not exactly going to go into extreme detail over stuff like exactly how Abnos get made since it doesn't really have too much to do with the critical path.
Thank you very much, not only did you fully prepare me for my LoR experience but you also gave me emotional damage for spoiling this absolute gem of a storyline
1:03 Y’know, I was enjoying the video before this, but this made me drop everything and subscribe. Glad to see the Venn diagram of ‘has the mental illness to play Ultrakill’ and ‘has the mental illness to enjoy PMoon’ is just as broad as it seems. ❤
Actually for anyone just wanting to go through the lore alone in the game there is also an assortment of mods one can use to speed through the harder parts. Of course the game loses part of its charm but in itself its not a bad way to see the story unravel.
fuck, i really wished to experience the story in game cause it gives a better emotional attachment to the characters, but i dont have enought time, maybe one day ill go back and finish it
Thanks for this video. I recently 100% Lobotomy Corp and wanted to make sure I understood everything before going to LoR. The only complaint I have for this video was that it went VERY fast, I had trouble following even when slowed. Other than that, nice video!
on one hand I could save myself a lot of grief by just watching this video and giving up on the grind that is having everything set up for my final run BUT still needing to actually get through a bunch of days of nothing new happening so I can do the final "bosses" (worded vaguely for sake of avoiding spoilers). Then I could just move on to LoR. On the other hand I am So Close, I am just bored and want to get to the parts that will make me tear my hair out just so I can see new content finally AHHHHHHHHH
still, when I'm finished the game I will probably watch this video because it has taken me months to get through Lobotomy Corporation and I have forgotten a lot of lore lol, and idk if I really feel like going through all the visual novel sequences at the end once I've finished the game
@@Word46 idk how it happened but when i first got introduced to lobotomy corp i thought of it as a haha funny colony builder korean game with haha funny random name i just thought lootomy corp was there to imply some kind of gap moe which i guess is true? tho there is a lot less gap than i thought also it quite obviously isnt what that person who first told me about it made it out to be im also quite intrigued to find out that some korean indie game with maybe a handful of thousand of budget has a better story even when summarized than the entirety of mihoyo's library who made billions with genshin alone
This is actually worth a watch even if you played Lcorp. Hell I grinded out the true end of Lcorp but I must have lost focus somewhere in there as I didn't know some things mentioned here
thanks for posting this video, its currently on sale on steam and i was conflicted on getting Lobotomy Corporation but i will most likey get both now :) keep up the good work
I think my favorite thing I’ve seen of LC was some guy’s solution to getting bodied by Gebura was to intentionally let all the Alephs and also Queen of Hatred out of his cages and go head-to-head with her, Nothing There being the only survivor of the brawl
good video ty!! My friend is really interested in Library of Ruina but wasn't a fan of Lobotomy Corp gameplay, glad i found this. Really saved so much time just explaining all of the little details i would probably going to missed explaining.
Thank you! I was in pretty much this exact same situation with this game, wanting to go into LoR but not wanting to do the arduous task of getting through Lob Corp. Glad it could help you!
Thanks for making this, I have over 70 hours in Lobotomy Corporation, and although I enjoyed it a lot, I found it to be rather tedious and dull sometimes. There are lots of things I enjoy, and a lot of things I hated. So ultimately I quit, not out of hate or anything, just boredom, which I suppose is fitting seeing what X had to go through. Thanks for the video!
I'm always glad to help! Lob Corp is certainly one of the games of all time, and the sheer number of comments I've gotten on this video discussing similar experiences to yours REALLY shows I made the right call in making this
Thank you so much for making this. I really wanted to play Library of Ruina, but the gameplay of Lobotomy corp just wasn't doing anything for me. Not to say it was bad, just not my style
Yeah, while Lob Corp is definitely a well made and unique game, it's NOT for everyone, and this video is here to let those who it's not for enjoy the game after.
Thank you so much, I was literally just looking for this kind of video the other day. Definitely gonna go back and give LC another shot one day, but for now LoR is calling my name.
I'm in the same boat, lol. I'll conquer Lob Corp one of these days, but for now the story is what's important to know for the MUCH MORE APPEALING LoR. Hope you enjoy your time in the library!
What's the OST for Actions Have Consequences? Anyway omfg this was made so damn well. I really know nothing about Lobotomy Corp but after getting a YT mv I started to look into it and now I wanted to try playing the game but came across this video. Decided to just watch it and ARGHHHHH the way the twist was shown at the end gave me so much chills??? Going to watch the Library of Ruina ones next because dammit I'm too deep in this to not to
Yeeeeah, the slow pacing mixed with the agonizing loop makes Lob Corp a hard sell for a lot of people, whereas Library has extremely good pacing and a more accessible card battler system. Best of luck my guy, it's a ride and a half
Thank you! I worked for quite a while on this, but it wouldn't have turned out so well without the help from my twitch chat. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Very good summary! Sure, there are a couple slight inaccuracies, which is sort of inevitable, because the way Project Moon does storytelling means it's very hard to get a perfectly full picture of what's going on. And yes, that includes some of the turbonerds in this very comment section. Regardless, the complaints are mostly about very arcane details that only loremeisters long since disappeared Up They Own Ass would care about, so these ought to be ignored on principle. Especially since people that actually care about the lore that much will just play the game themselves, or at least go through the story bits in full, rather than watching a comedy summary. Anyways, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the kind words! I'm leaving those comments as they are since they're both not spoiling anything for Ruina, and they offer more detailed information about the story for those who want it. That said, anything about me being irresponsible for not including more details about stuff like the arcane (good word for it btw) "Bucket" and stuff like that, they need to google the definition of Summary again.
Angela, you have to feel the same sorrow as mine... No. You have to feel even worse than that. You took Angelica from me--she meant the world to me.
(Also, the fact that a wing war was fought to take over the old L-corp is not really touched upon in LC, so this might be a bad thing to bring up as a summary for LoR, when it's alluded more in said game, and side material like distortion detective and wonderlab.)
5- Not really a mistake, but wanted to specify, the time loop tech was acquired thanks to them financing time rewind tech T-corp had until it could rewind much further than before, thus making an enclosed loop.
Thank you for the corrections!
Ben is also dead soon after the timeloop started, killed by angela when he tries to convince A to stop after the script has already started
Noticed all of them except 1, i still pretend i know how cogito works but nah (maybe ill try read the wikia once more)
Did they ever explain what happened to Michelle? It seemed like ayin forgot about her and just continued on, but idk how he made her robot if he didn’t know what happened
Its heavily implied that the disease of the mind there trying to cure is nihilism a lot of the characters who have back stories in the wings seem to suffer from a small case of it.
“If you remember my previous comment about A being High-Functioning, it’s not high functioning Autism -it’s sociopathy.” Made me laugh harder than it had any right to. My gosh, I hope to remember that quote for the rest of my life; it’s too funny to forget.

I wasn't even planning on playing lobotomy corp or library of ruina, but this video got me REALLY interested in the story and what will happen next.

@@Word46 what about limbus company, it is better than library?
@@FrowTingDelta I personally think Ruina was better but Limbus is still unfinished so it isn’t really a fair comparison yet
Honestly, in my perspective, (and opinion) Limbus company's probably gonna be another library of ruina but slightly better
A couple things I want to note by around a third of the way into the video:
1. There’s a District for Z, it isn’t the Outskirts, it’s just not ever mentioned or shown beyond people basically saying ‘oh yeah that thing exists’
2. Garion LITERALLY just got done destroying a whole Wing right before going to the Outskirts lab
Completing my 100% Lob Corp run was so cathartic.
Not enough likes for such an achievement.
Just beat it today bro. no mod, no exploit, and most importantly nowhitenightruiningmylastreset.
Lmao I just beat the game like 3 days ago 100%

oh god i choked on the "high functioning sociopathy" part
That's still one of my favorite bits from this video
@@Word46 it's a tough competition, considering this entire video is one giant banger!
Because the game relies so much on being a black box to deliver the true experience, it's hard to recommend without hurting some portion of it, on some level. x.x

Might be a little late to this project moon stuff but, this storyline is actually so insanely interesting (if only the games didn’t make me want to actually tear my eyes out..)
PLEASE I DON'T WANNA GO TO THE LAB, YOU CAN'T MAKE ME, I DON'T WANNA LAB FRAME DATA FOR HOURS ON END
Leaning the lore of Lobotomy Corporation so you can play library of ruina
Then you have me, who plays both games simultaneously and tries to piece together the lore as I slowly make progress through both games
HAH, a real fixer lets Runia rot in their library as they mald over trying to beat those last five days seriously I've been stuck at it for so long I just wanna be-
Fun theory I have about the themes of the two most important abnormalities in the game:
*White Night* is the physical representation of the character A, and everything he has done.
The best analogy would be Adam, proud to inact Carmen's will with no though or nuance put into it, or, SPOILER, Carmen herself, for her dedinition of freedom and caring about yourself is flawed and she does it only to please herself with little to regard to the people she's "saving"
One Sin is all forgiving skull that helps people to eradicate their sins if they truly seek for atonement.
Day 30 is an achievement! I totally get bowing out after that, this game can be really brutal
Absolutely, and I'm glad there are other people out there to fill in the details, but I'm glad to talk about the actual important plot beats
what's the bucket
Have literally been looking for a video like this, you’re a life saver.
Glad I could help, a lot of the reason I made this is because I was looking for this exact video lol
@@Word46 It’s so well made too! You really did a great job.
This summary made me kek. All the visuals were just perfect.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the goofs
I like how the wings are just Chaebols (South Korean mega corporations that hold massive influence over all aspects of korean society)
That's the scariest thing about project moon content, it draws from a lot of real life sources.
@@Word46 The more i read into their lore the more it just looks like korean/asian society driven to their supernatural natural conclusion, late stage post apocalyptic fantasy capitalism
What a wonderful, funny and perfect summary. Thank you so much, it was a blast of a video to enjoy.
Thank YOU for the uplifting comment! I'm glad you enjoyed 😁
Thank you so much for this video! I just completed the game, but a lot of the lore was still fuzzy to me. This video summed it up really nicely :D
Weren't "We Can Change Anything" and "All-Around Helper" made by a past X Corp?
But isn't binah post-meltdown cutscene reveal that H-corp was destroyed by herself?

I watched every LC cutscene after making it to day 20 just so I can play LoR
I did something similar at about the same time. Lob Corp is solid, but my lord is it a thick game.
I wish I waited for this video because I spent so much hours watching all the game's cutscenes on UA-cam cuz I couldn't beat the game.
Sorry to hear it didn't come out at the right time for you. I had a well informed Twitch Chat filling me in on all the details that I missed as we went, so thankfully I didn't have to piece everything together from the scattered cutscenes.

To be fair, Lob Corp isn't exactly a game designed to have a good time with. That clicks for some people, but for a lot of us, it's just a bad time. Library is MUCH better about this.
Halfway through all the characters dying, I think I would like to see it for myself.

I hope the video helped!
Probably the best Lobotomy Corp explained on UA-cam and the game has been out for YEARS.
Wow, that's high praise, I've seen some of those other Lob Corp vids and they're REALLY good. Thank you for putting me up there with the greats!
I was told to watch this so I can understand everything behind Limbus Company-
1:03 Y’know, I was enjoying the video before this, but this made me drop everything and subscribe.

I really don't want to scratch my brain trying to understand lobcorp awful gameplay so THANKS for this
good video ty!!

Decided to just watch it and ARGHHHHH the way the twist was shown at the end gave me so much chills??? Going to watch the Library of Ruina ones next because dammit I'm too deep in this to not to
The song is Third Trumpet/Third Warning
I really could not get used to the pacing of lobotomy corp. but I am interested in the library of ruina, a card game is a little more palatable to me.
Yeeeeah, the slow pacing mixed with the agonizing loop makes Lob Corp a hard sell for a lot of people, whereas Library has extremely good pacing and a more accessible card battler system. Best of luck my guy, it's a ride and a half
I absolutely find management games boring, so thanks for this
"I plan on making a lot of content for limbus company"
Good luck finding any
I've found plenty, thanks!
this is really well made good job
Thank you! I worked for quite a while on this, but it wouldn't have turned out so well without the help from my twitch chat. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!
I pressed the button and it took me straight to the summary of the story strange : )
Appreciate the video cause I couldn't finish the game I gave it 60 hours but couldn't bring myself to do it keep resetting and redoing days
You are exactly the type of person that was made for!
Me who started on Limbus Company:
Angela, you have to feel the same sorrow as mine... No. You have to feel even worse than that. You took Angelica from me--she meant the world to me. I sat on my hands as I watched people I knew die, and I even killed my own best friend with these shadowed gloves, just for this moment. All for this moment... I've been suppressing my emotions, forcing this pained smile.
OH MY FUCKING GOD THE LIGHT IS DAAT HOW DID I NOT NOTICE THIS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Thank you for making this video, great help for getting people into Ruina but don't feel interested in L Corp
Thank you! Lob Corp can be a pretty bitter pill to swallow, so I hope this helps people jump right into Ruina!
@@Word46 I already finished Ruina months ago but this help for friends
And just like A we too forgot about Angela until the very end
Wanting to play Library of Ruina, and Lobotomy Corporation, but also don't want to play lobotomy corporation, but also want, but no want >_> to watch or not to watch, ah the misery
I suggest watch but I'm kinda biased
Damn good Explanation of LCorp story, subbed
Thank you! I hope my next project continues to impress 😁
