  • You are heartily invited to a magical evening with Karol Liver, who will take us on a deep journey into the Peruvian rainforest, right into the arms of Nimea Kaya, the Spirit of the Jungle.
Throughout the lecture, Karol will talk about the shamanistic heritage of the indigenous tribes such as Shipibo-Conibo, their beliefs, their pantheon of the forest spirits and the daily habits of local societies.
The main theme of the lecture will be plant-based alternative medicinal work and the traditional use of plant-based medicine, such as Ayahuasca, Mapacho, Sananga and Noya Rao.
Karol will discuss how to get safely prepared for such journey and how to create a stable grounds for further personal expansion. He will talk about Ayahuasca as a chemical compound, as a botanical plant, as a healing process and as a potential conductor for personal growth and further spiritual progression.
We will talk about Shipibo culture. Who is the shaman for the local community and how a person is initiated to become a curandero (a healer)? What tools do curanderos use to perform their community-oriented work? What responsibility do they carry? Karol will also explain what Sáma, commonly referred to as 'dieta' is, and what kind of restrictions and commitments an adept of shamanistic knowledge, who goes through it, has to face.
Finally, we will talk about the differences between the shamanistic work at the source and modern one adapted to a foreign Western audience.
