Your health is important, don't force yourself, I watch your builds from time to time, and really enjoy them ( I'm an armour modeller ) Regards from North Wales UK.
Very excited for your next build. I was searching for build videos on the guns of Enterprise and found your channel. Enterprise and Yorktown were identical at launch and were built side by side. Minor variations from operational lessons. Hope you feel better soon.
Hi Ron, sorry your not feeling well, have done it myself ate something late at night to upset the tummy. Good choice for your next build, get well soon.
Hi Ron, get well soon. The Enterprise will be a great project for you. I just recently ordered a wood ship kit. It's the same one Jason is building on Modelkit Stuff. It's been snowing all day here. Stay warm! Jeff
Hi Ron, can’t wait for the CV5 build. My Grandfather served on her as Aviation Machinist Mate. I am currently building the 350 scale version but unfortunately my skills are a bit lacking. I’m did notice the hull of the Merit kit was stamped CV5 - I don’t know how accurate that is can’t imagine CV 5 and 6 were exactly the same. Take care hope you’re feeling better!
Hi Michael, Re: *served on her as Aviation Machinist Mate* Thank you for sharing this information. When I woke up this morning I started thinking about the CV-5, which will be on my model table probably in about half a year, and I was wondering how many of the men who actually served on her would be still alive. Then I realized that they would probably be about 100 years old if they were. 👍
Hi Ron, I know it's enforced but a rest day away from the model might be a good thing. Hopefully you are straining at the ropes to come back when you feel better tomorrow. One day closer to the end of winter and the goldwing. Have a good night.
Nice card from the Isle of Wight. Both my wife and I love visiting but the ferry costs with car are expensive. We haven't been for a few years as my wife has had one knee replaced and waiting for the other. Even with rest stops she is unable to sit in the car for the journey from Ashford, Kent to Portsmouth ferry terminal. Once the other knee is done and recovered we hope to visit again.
Good afternoon Dave, Tanks for commenting again. Please pass on my best wishes to your wife regarding her second knee replacement. Maybe one day you'll get back down to the Isle of Wight. 👍
Sorry that you're feeling bad, Ron. Hope you feel better soon. Great choice for your next build!👍 I also have the 1/350 version, and had a tour of her namesake, CVN-65, back in the early 90s. Their now working on her namesake, CVN-80... though I think it will be a few more years before her completion. Anyway, hope you feel better soon. See you next time! 👍🙂
Nice choice for your next project Ron. I’m wondering if your coffee is upsetting your stomach? Great episode. Hope you feel better soon. Take care n see you tomorrow.
