Hell yea it’s hood up there. The hood can’t afford to live in the loop so it def get pushed out to the burbs. Blocks and blocks of apartments always equals hood in Harris county.
In my opinion I think it’s a decent area, I don’t live to far from there but I’ve never had any issues in that area. Traffic over there sucks but other than that it seem to be a cool area. Thank you for checking out my channel and don’t forget to subscribe.
Cypress station no joke...I used to stay in the palms apartments 3yrs ago fresh from new York...I thought I was saving money getting a cheaper apartment ...I was so wrong ...gun shots every 2 days...drug overdoses...domestic violence etc...it's all round bad...I'm so glad I got out of there and moved to a better area
I remember living in Portofino Landing back in the day on Cypress Station and I remember they used to be shooting and fighting over there every other day. You’re right though; cypress station is kinda wild.
1960 close to 45 is crazy. I literally have a picture of a "homeless outreach" Harris county sheriff's car and right next to us at the intersection there was at least 15-20 homeless people. He didn't stop so I don't know what the hell outreach they doing but something has to be done to help these people or something I seen two homeless people separate times try to attack cars that were driving by. Just trying to slap them. Another runs across almost gets run tf over. I just think those pics I got are ironic as hell cause he ain't stop or nothing to offer aid to those people. And I grew up around alief and I think it's worse up over here especially with the homeless population
Yeap that 1960 area is kinda wild, my pops live off of Hollow Tree and it’s always something going on over there. I remember I stayed off of Cypress Station back in the day and it stayed poppin off over there. I heard gunshots literally every other night or in the day times at times too. I came outside my apartment one day and it was about 20 people fighting in the parking lot; throwing beer bottles and shit. That area get wild on the cool.
That’s correct. When you turn on cypress station going the other way, that sector was really bad. Those apartments in the left hand corner when you come to the stop sign after you pas the car wash, those apartments are gated now, shit back then when I was staying there in 2010, that area was a war zone. A lot of guys from the hurricane Katrina stayed in this one apartments. And that street was a dead end. Now they have a whole business parkway back there that leads to the freeway. Somebody stole my mothers suv during broad daylight
I almost moved to this area a few months back, but I chose some apartments closer to Willowbrook. I've heard gunshots over here but only once or twice. Pretty safe otherwise.
I remember the Arden, I stayed in Portofino Landing I remember I used to hear gun shots over there every other night. They changed the name of em like they do all other apartments in Houston.
I lived there a while back at Portofino Landing and I remember they used to stay fighting and shooting at night, them I moved over to Cypress Lakes it was way more calmer just a lot of traffic, but Yeap I agree with you on that.

I live on the 200 side of Rockcreek. Smh it's bad. I wouldn't advise anyone to move over here. I'm trying to move around now
I think that’s where my pops live, off of Hollow Tree. Yeap that area get active. I used to live off of Cypress Station.
I almost moved to this area a few months back, but I chose some apartments closer to Willowbrook. I've heard gunshots over here but only once or twice. Pretty safe otherwise.
Been 15 yrs since I moved out The Arden. Cypress Station wasn’t as bad back then but I’ll always remember the good days living there
