I feel like this applies to all of bangtan's vocalists, they have so much potential to become way greater than they're now, I feel they lackof training with how busy they have been I remember when they did with a woman on american hustle life, she helped V and praised him, she corrected some mistakes on Jungkook's way of singing and his breathing, they could've took off from their but again, they're very busy, I hope they get to do some training sometime before their next album

It's not just his vocal range that makes his voice impressive, but the fact that he can change the sound/quality of his voice aswell. Growling, husky, soulfull, soft etc. They're all amazing.
I agree. I think taehyung has a BEAUTIFUL voice and so much range. the problem is that he doesn't know how to utilize it in a live performance because he isn't being trained for it right now. I've heard him sing live a few times and it was a bit shaky, especially if he is moving around a lot. I think that's why they put jungkook for the main chorus because he has a more stable control over his voice. But not to take away from Jungkook because he has such a sweet voice. However, I have always liked Taehyung's voice more because theres something so manly about deep voices lol.
I saw the live version of stigma and you can obviously hear that he isn´t as trained with high notes as much as jin or jimin or kookie , but with practise he could get more stable ^^ I wish that he could get more of chance to show his abilities ( the same goes for Jin ) ^^
If you want to get impressed by a big range search Geoff Castelluci range, he's amazing. V has a good range, but nothing out of the world, but I like his tone, his voice is low comparing the voices of the entire kpop industry, even Felix of Stray Kids doesn't have a super low voice, he is good with vocal fry, but he's a baritone nothing out of the world to be honest, but all singers are unique in the way they sing.
I've always said that V has the widest vocal range out of the group. Remember in AHL when Iris was teaching them? She was clearly the most drawn to V's voice out of the three (which were Suga, Jungkook, and V). She said how soulful it was and how it draws her in. Stigma is my favorite solo song. One reason is that we weren't really told what it's about so we kind of have to make guesses which is really cool to me because I love figuring a song out and because of how beautiful and emotional his voice is.
I hope one day bighit realizes he's a baritone and not a tenor. Please utilize his low vocals!! For some reason kpop companies are all about the high notes but what about the low notes?? Taehyung is the perfect opportunity to change that about kpop but instead they have him singing like he's a tenor and hurting his vocal chords :(
well 3 of the 4 vocalists in bts are light lyric tenors and taehyung just happen to not be a tenor. it would be quite unfair if they wrote all their songs in a baritone key because the other vocalist are tenors. either way most of bts songs are written in quite a low tenor range so i dont think it will do any damage to his voice. none of the vocalists in bts have developed vocal techniques so they usually dont do anything crazy with their vocals that could potentially damage their voices except for jimin that sometimes sing way too high for what he is comfortable with. as he go higher he gets a lot of tension in throat which is quite damaging. many people tends to think that jimin is superior just because he can sing higher than the rest but the truth is that no one in bts can sing above F4 with support which is quite low even for a tenor.

He probably didn't get the training in 2017, because he still has some bad habits and I'm afraid he is ruining his voice like Jimin, but BigHit can't give them enough time for true training with profesionalists :( But it's incredible he still improved and has even wider voice now

I have only been an ARMY for 6 days now but my bias has already switched twice (Jin, Suga, V). I can't really pick a favorite so it is always bouncing around with every video I watch. To be quite honest, my least favorite is J-Hope. I choose my bias either by who I can currently relate to the most or just FEEL something that you can't describe. That's why Suga has been my bias for the longest so far; he is really savage but sensitive and sweet at the same time. He has a lot of passion and his personal struggles are similar to the ones I have been through. J-Hope is really flamboyant, energetic, and colorful, and I admire him for always being able to have that face on, but I personally can't relate as well. It is so hard to stick to a bias because if one member does something enjoyable, another will follow. And why would you have seven amazing people to choose from and only stick to one the entire journey? I think that I will be switching biases within the week, but I have to say that V has an incredible voice and spirit. I can feel this amazing aura and soul radiating through the screen. Some people have stated perfectly what I feel about it, although I can't quite put it into words. He is so opposite from himself in many ways; his looks, vibes, and the waves of energy radiating off of him are masculine and feminine; he has a high, clear, beautiful voice, as well as a deep, harsh voice. I'm just so glad I discovered this group and I'm really looking forward to growing with them.

+모간 Rather than using a clear and clean tone Jungkooks singing is nasal and breathy (stylistically). It sounds pretty but it does limit him a lot. His support is a bit shallow since you cant support a breathy tone. His vocal registers are also underdeveloped. Especially his mixed voice since he tend to strain a lot in his mix above F4 and he is also unable to support above his first passaggio which is around Eb3 for tenors. His lower register is also quite breathy and quiet and clear and clean sounding below Eb3. He has a quite big problem with support in his falsetto since it sometimes becomes flat and he strain and get high larynx. As for V he has the best breath support (despite his singing also being airy) and sense of pitch. He can support his mix above his first passagio which is B3 for baritones. His lower register is quite underdeveloped too since he can only support down to C3 which is not much for a baritone. he usually use falsetto but on some occasions he is able to sing in a connected unsupported head voice. he used a lot of head voice in stigma but of course it was pushed and strained.

I'm someone hype about jazz or music instrument with bass sound bcos my ear kind of sensitive? I guess, and V come with his deep voice that I really love. Nope I think that's the lowest singable note for taehyung he is a lyric baritone not a bass or low baritone. he lower his larynx to hit those lower notes and his voice sounds more deeper than the actual voice

Although majority of bts songs r more in the mid-high range since Jin, jimin, and jungkook r tenors but I feel like it's a good thing since helped him expand his vocal range over the yrs and become more stable but yea I do wish that there were more songs or parts that could really show his deep voice 😁

With the updated music they put out, he can belt up to a C#5 which is INSANE for a baritone. His range extends both below and above the traditional baritone range by quite a lot, so yeah, he's definitely got the largest range in BTS by far. He's such a brilliant vocalist.

Even though I do go to a music school and I have been taking vocal lessons for a while now i personally don't think I'm good. I just have the most basic things when it comes to vocal techniques like support, placement, intonation...etc. I'm nothing special. I truly believe that anyone can sing if they just take the time to develop their vocal techniques. learning vocal techniques is hard and it's a long process. You really have to be patient. A lot of singers don't have very developed vocal techniques either. BTS is a perfect example of a band who succeeded even though their vocals are considered "weak" compared to many other vocalists in this industry so you don't even have to have good vocal techniques to be able to sing "well". if you ever need help you could always message me through youtube and i will gladly help you :).

I like to sing, people say that I sing pretty and I kinda like my voice but I don't know how to sing, I learned a bit when I had singing classes for a year but then my parents couldn't afford it anymore so I just know the basic of the basic but I still want to learn, it's difficult I had noticed but I want to sound good, I want to sound perfect for me and it's really hard when I forget the half information of the little I knew and tbh I don't know why I'm doing right but thank you for your response.
"Sounding good" is completely subjective. everyone has their own standards when it comes to singing. some people prefer if the vocalist has good vocal techniques, some people prefer unique voices. the thing people will most likely notice is pitch and rhythm. to most people as long as you can stay in pitch and sing in the right timing then you already know how to sing. all though I don't agree with singing being that simple it all depends on how you want to sing and what you want to sing, if you want to sing stylistically or technically.

He has a quite big problem with support in his falsetto since it sometimes becomes flat and he strain and get high larynx. As for V he has the best breath support (despite his singing also being airy) and sense of pitch. He can support his mix above his first passagio which is B3 for baritones. His lower register is quite underdeveloped too since he can only support down to C3 which is not much for a baritone. he usually use falsetto but on some occasions he is able to sing in a connected unsupported head voice. he used a lot of head voice in stigma but of course it was pushed and strained.
ugh dont you just wanna coach tae to develop his lower range cuz i do ㅠㅠㅠ im a sucker for bass and baritones lol, also the rest of the vocal line cuz at some point they tend to strain their vocal chords(?) or so i think from what i hear. also, dont you think bighits vocal coach could be better? or is it just me, its like their 4th year this year and vocal line is still not polished enough imo.. it makes me quite sad
SAME!!! taehyung has such a strong voice but he struggles so much to hit that high note in 'Stigma' when he's singing live... we all know that the vocal line has a lot of potential but bighit isn't helping them :(

I'm neither singer nor know anything about vocal range. but I really really really like V's vocal. the reason why STIGMA is my fav is bcos his low note in the beginning. I'm someone hype about jazz or music instrument with bass sound bcos my ear kind of sensitive? I guess, and V come with his deep voice that I really love. I like his low note than his high note, but his high note in blood sweat and tears are my fav part tbvh.
I'm just wondering, how you can separate it into those notes? Are u playing instrument or it's part of vocal training?

I think what the user did was seperating parts where he can hit those notes hearing by ear (which most musicians are trained in)
Some musicians can identify the notes by simply hearing and thats what the user probably did.

Nope I think that's the lowest singable note for taehyung he is a lyric baritone not a bass or low baritone. he lower his larynx to hit those lower notes and his voice sounds more deeper than the actual voice

Although majority of bts songs r more in the mid-high range since Jin, jimin, and jungkook r tenors but I feel like it's a good thing since helped him expand his vocal range over the yrs and become more stable but yea I do wish that there were more songs or parts that could really show his deep voice 😁

With the updated music they put out, he can belt up to a C#5 which is INSANE for a baritone. His range extends both below and above the traditional baritone range by quite a lot, so yeah, he's definitely got the largest range in BTS by far. He's such a brilliant vocalist.

i can't function properly right now, this makes me wanna sing and sing and i don't know, just this inspired me so much, this makes me want to study music, like, you don't have not idea, this kind of things makes me feel so good and taehyung's voice is so beautiful and he has a such breath taking range for me and i can't think properly i forgot how to write in english but i can't switch to spanish because that would be a disaster if someone who is not chilean try to understand me and i'm so so sory it's just that i'm in shook and yeah
Even though I do go to a music school and I have been taking vocal lessons for a while now i personally don't think I'm good. I just have the most basic things when it comes to vocal techniques like support, placement, intonation...etc. I'm nothing special. I truly believe that anyone can sing if they just take the time to develop their vocal techniques. learning vocal techniques is hard and it's a long process. You really have to be patient. A lot of singers don't have very developed vocal techniques either. BTS is a perfect example of a band who succeeded even though their vocals are considered "weak" compared to many other vocalists in this industry so you don't even have to have good vocal techniques to be able to sing "well". if you ever need help you could always message me through youtube and i will gladly help you :).

I like to sing, people say that I sing pretty and I kinda like my voice but I don't know how to sing, I learned a bit when I had singing classes for a year but then my parents couldn't afford it anymore so I just know the basic of the basic but I still want to learn, it's difficult I had noticed but I want to sound good, I want to sound perfect for me and it's really hard when I forget the half information of the little I knew and tbh I don't know why I'm doing right but thank you for your response.
"Sounding good" is completely subjective. everyone has their own standards when it comes to singing. some people prefer if the vocalist has good vocal techniques, some people prefer unique voices. the thing people will most likely notice is pitch and rhythm. to most people as long as you can stay in pitch and sing in the right timing then you already know how to sing. all though I don't agree with singing being that simple it all depends on how you want to sing and what you want to sing, if you want to sing stylistically or technically.
