Damn dude ADV2 is rolls royce of onewheels right now and it's your first board thats sick mate. As you mentioned you have previous board sport experience so you'll pick up the nack of onewheels before you know it!! Bent knees for essentially any riding past walking pace to get yourself in a good "attack" riding stance, prepared to hit any sudden shitty roads or potholes. Your knees are your suspension now and you don't want to lock them out with straight legs
You spent all that money and you've never even stood on a onewheel! Congrats mate! After the 1st week or 2 you'll get over the hump and really start enjoying cruising around. It's beautiful. Welcome to the sport!
First video I’ve seen on the ADV2. You progressed really fast in five minutes seriously! And you did good getting this over any future motion board. They got me into the sport but it seems like VESC has taken over FM software. I just ordered a Funwheel X7 and am interested in the differences in power between the two. The X7 is XR based which is considered the best size of Onewheel ever made. Just keep learning because floating is one of the most fun things to do.
Nice vidéo! Finally we can see an ADV2! I like that you show your first test of the machine. For someone like me who never had the opportunity to ride a floatwheel it shows what we can expect.
keep those knees a little bent, keep your body weight either above or behind the hub/wheel, and don't be afraid to let the wheel make little adjustments! Once you have a little speed it makes the balancing much easier, and last thing, if you move your front foot back a bit so that instead of a bit of your toes hanging off, you have a bit of your heel hanging off it will help with balance as well. These are all things I wish I had known and had someone to tell me when I first started riding :) happy floating!
Jealous of your Australia weather. You'll get used to it quickly. You got the best board you could get for first time buy. Started riding last year and absolutely obsessed with it myself. On my 3rd board now. Have fun.
Congratulations! Waiting for mine to arrive. Will be the first in my country. Question: was a charger included in the package with the board or did it arrive in a separate package?
Thanks for posting this. First video of the production ADV2 I've found. You might want to add "ADV2" to your title name so more people waiting for theirs (like me) will find it. Looking forward to your next vid. Curious to hear if the out of the box tuning is good. Any random nose dives? Did you download the floaty app? Congrats on the board!
thanks for the video, looks great.

Get full body, elbows, knees, padded shorts, helmet and wrist wraps and you’ll be zooming without fear
