A Teacher From the Neighborhood

This video features Ms. Christina Garcia, a Pre-K teacher at Orville T. Bright Elementary, and the school community that loves her. The children in her classroom are entering school for the very first time. Ms. Garcia gives them the foundation they need for a strong academic journey, and the care and nurturing that our youngest learners deserve. She teaches general education students alongside those with special needs, and operates a model demonstration classroom, meaning that teachers from around CPS come to her to see what great teaching looks like.
