The Danish National is a treasure!
Its actually not the the national but danish radio symphoni orchestra, its like bbc symphony orchestra.
@@adrianpallis4568 It's the same. DR Symfoniorkester doubles as the national orchestra.
Tuva and Christine performing together is musical heaven
Whenever I see one of the world greatest mezzo sopranos (Tuva) singing on the same song with one of the world’s greatest sopranos (Christine), I just gotta watch because I know it’s going to be beautiful. Both of them individually are utterly superb and at the top of their class; but when they’re together, it’s pure magic.

If it's possible to love an orchestra, I love this one. Exceptionally talented musicians, technal staff, creative director and team - so so creative. And the chorus and soloists. All in all: Wonderful/. Applause to Tuva and Christine

Whoever designed, built and operated that lightsculpture ... that person hopefully realises that what they did was simply amazing and contributed greatly to the whole performance.
I have listened, viewed, experienced, tolerated, put up with, every youtube,site, EVER , the, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, site is the ABSOLUTES BEST SINCE, GOD HAS PUT UPON MY EARS THE LISTENED to experience. Just know that the TIME IS AT AN END, seek 'JESUS', Lest ye be let behind!!!!!!!
I was able to attend, and boy can I tell you it's worth the money you pay! A true experience that I will never forget!

What an amazing combination of Vocals and Arrangements. Ms. Semmingsen and Ms. Nonbo Anderson just seem to know how to bring out the best of any vocals needed for the orchestra. I am a fan of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. From the US.

Was present at this concert. Absolutly amazing, both the visual impression and the music was out of this world.
Sat next to one of the lighting tecs. He controlled the centerpiece and the running lights via a keyboard. Used notes to time it perfectly. Superb job

@@vaidas7777 I bought tickets to this concert and I believe they were around 70 usd or 60 euro each. I did get the 2nd most expensive ticket, it is possible to get a seat for about half this price I believe

I'm uneducated and rough. I have what amounts to a 9th grade education, but this particular symphony orchestra speaks to me. Especially those two sopranos.
As stated above the presentation is superb. This music is special to my untutored ear.
Music speaks to your feelings- you dont have to be educated to understand it. I'm glad that you are moved by our national symphony orchestra 😀😃

Tuva and Christine by themselves are absolutley angelic. Both of their voices working together is absolutely undescribely great. There is no proper word in the english langauge for it.

I was thinking the same myself. Last time I was at the beach there was a couple of very nice mermaids doing a gig. They were very reminiscent of this. 🤪🤪

The 2013 film Gravity starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney about two astronauts stranded in space while trying to repair the Hubble telescope won 7 oscars. One of the oscars was to Stephan Price who wrote the music for Gravity. I think it was an excellent film and all the musicians, lighting technicians, stage designers and anyone involved with this musical production here do it justice.
Thank you, no one else in the comments seems to mention Steven Price, the talented composer who wrote this wonderful piece. The whole soundtrack for Gravity is amazing, and this final piece always brings tears to my eyes.
And Katherine Ellis who sang the original vocals.

I went to the original Galaxymphony concert, the
Morricone Duel one, and the Fantasymphony concert. But not this sequel to Galaxymphony... Huge mistake! Not missing out on these soundtrack concerts again!
This August they perform The Duel again. Go!

Not my favorite movie, but this rendition of the sound track. Steals my breath
Absolutely masterful. What separates this work of music from the rest of the soundtrack is the percussive rhythm, which is introduced when Ryan Stone returns safely to earth. This is meant to give emphasis of the stable cradle of earth vs the chaotic void of space.

Hello do you know what effect it gives. I am not able to hear it.
@@nuke837 In the first few seconds, there is a warbly sound, which is made by the glass. There are other ways to make that sound, but this is distinctive and this precise sound can only be made this way. It is suppose to sound otherworldly. The variations in the sound is made by varying the speed of the finger and tilting the glass. It has to be done precisely to get the right tone and sound.
