I like that this 8 Bit Remix actually sounds like a proper 8 bit song unlike a lot of people who do an 8 bit remix but it sounds like a shitty filter was placed over the song. This feels like you assigned a different sound for different instrumentals and mixed them together like an old NES soundtrack would have been.
It's like, a lot of people who are new to making chiptunes fail to grasp the limitations between 8, 16, and 32-bit generations, and just think "Blips and beeps, right?" I'm willing to stake money that a good chunk of them can't differentiate Sawtooth and Square wave frequencies by sound.
@@cparty7790 Please don't say this. This is a nonsense description and what was "8-bit" or "16-bit" didn't have to do with how complicated it sounded. I'm pretty sure there are at least a few 8-bit computers out there with more sophisticated sound hardware, and likewise 16-bit hardware with less complex sound.
These are exceptional. They really capture what the older sound chips sounded like with new songs. I look forward to hearing more of em!

@@VaktheFox saw tooth goes bzzzz, square goes waaaaaw
Most of the time people's "8 bit" remixes are actually closer to 16bit.

I love how this feels like it belongs on NES Castlevania.
Pandaemonium is literally Castlevania, so it fits yeah
@@MrDoot-hj2ir Asphodelos was Castlevania, Abyssos is more Resident Evil.
I wonder what horror franchise the third tier will take us to? Silent Hill??
For some reason I instantly flashed back to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the GameBoy Color.
Shadowbringers was, what? SMT? Bayonetta?
You know a song is perfect when even the 8-bit version's got you headbanging.
You could have told me Scream was a remix of an earlier FF theme and then shown me this and I would have believed you.
This really helps me appreciate the composition of the song.
In the NES version, cachexia 2 was glitched and only applies normal poison which you can poisona away. the remakes fixed that, though!
I thought I'm playing Godzilla NES rn, awesome work!
Almost sounds like the Batman sound font.
Huh sweet, didn't know they were porting Endwalker to GBA.
Would I be correct in assuming this is done with the limitations of the 2A03 chip?
(Machine Translated) これが 2A03 チップの制限で行われると仮定するのは正しいでしょうか?
(machine translated) Yes. It was created using only the 2A03 channel of Famitracker.
Yes much better than the last crap I found. That one sounded more like Playstation. This is spot on for snes
SNES games didn’t sound like this buddy. You probably mean NES
Sounds like a new dr wily castle theme.
