I immediately recognized it as a symbol of my heritage and felt an instant connection. I asked my dad if I could switch my allegiance, and I never looked back. I already loved this Redskins logo , for me this logo was just a logo about a proud and strong (brave) indian ( at the time no internet and i was lucky to buy a Starter jacket Washington Redskins whose i loved and love yet so much). I don't speak english fluently english and i can understand this former name team can offense. Why not change the name of the team, bring back this great logo, and with the merchandising money give contributions to some native american foundations : it will be a win/ win situation. Peace .

I've never understood why a company, would change its company brand name, from it's historic company profile, out of pressure from everyone else whose not native American?
