Don deck has to be randomized (even though we still don't have different don the rule is such), that alone makes you unable to check your don deck to flip don upside down without doing an ilegal action.
as a OP judge it does not count as note taking, note taking rules relates to any outside assistance like using pen and paper to take actual notes, its like remembering which cards your opp took with searchers, as long as its something used in the game its not considered as note taking.
@@NimroDead you’re turning don upside down which in itself is illegal you’re also going into your don deck which according to the rules has to be randomised

Cant an opponent just change the order of your don deck though? 3-3-2. The DON!! deck is an open area. Cards in this area are placed face-down in a stack, and both players can freely view the contents and order of these cards, and change their order.
Man this is some next level tactics, I love the Law deck because it's so skill based and this tutorial proves it. You are so good. Have you won in like some big events?
Super cool! If you play against someone like blue where you might be getting bottom decked often, does it change anything? I guess as long as you hit and only put 4 back every time, each subsequent search is offset by 1 anyway (putting 4 back but searching 5 each time). So cards getting bottom decked wouldn't often affect much, and the upside don will still match? So if one of you cards got bottom decked between the first and second search, the rush zoro would just appear on 5 instead of 4. I can see it potentially messing up the system, just the offset helps alleviate it
Just saying but if you get caught doing this it is a form of cheating as you're not allowed to take notes in onepiece and this would be considered doing so
Most law decklists play 4 Bonney 4 Nami and 3 Dadan, they use leader effect to recycle them so they don't need to fully draw into that many they can get into 1 or 2 of them and just keep recycling them, or shambles them with blocker law or restand the Bonney with restand law... the drawing power of the deck is crazy and they can fully go through a deck
according to the judge chat, where i found this video, the entire thing is up in the air and an email was sent regarding whether it counted as note taking.
as an OP judge, this is NOT note taking as he is using game pieces and not any outside note taking items, so according to the rules it cannot be regards to as note taking.
@@NimroDeadThis is wrong. Using game pieces like this still counts as note taking, please be careful spreading misinformation especially if you are actually a judge.
Just do it without using the don. Judges (in the UK at least) will default you at the very mention of using this type of tactic and my proof is we had a store championship recently where a player was using a d6 dice and was disqualified on the spot
@@famousstranger8468 I've read the official comprehensive rules, and there's no such mention that all DON!! must match! As per your first comment, D6 dice are an external item whereas DON!! Is part of the game

agrade Sakura for the main deck, KMC CSG Matte for the Don Deck!
i don't think you are allowed to move the cards in your don!! deck, for sure we could get special don!! at some poin in the future.
The don deck is an open area, so you're allowed to rearrange them, no issue!
Are you not allowed to have a piee of paper and keep this? Pretty awesome start dont get me wrong
Note taking isn't allowed with pen and paper, so no
Bandai games do not allow note taking.

Hasn't come up in my experience, and if they ask to I'd memorise the order before handing my Don over
Thats fair i was just being devils advocate. Didnt want anyone to get stumped as didnt realise an opponent could do it.
how do you don when you put don on charachters? to not lose the track
I try to use my upside don!! For playing characters instead of attaching. Other than that, I try to attach to my characters from left to right!

Have addressed this in my follow up video! It's not considered note taking as the definition states external objects 👍
No shot you actually find that many searchers every game to cycle the whole deck like that?

It's pretty common for me to cycle 1-1.5 times, I've had longer games where I cycle twice as well
even with a zoro i can recycle a deck
Is this legal?
Yup!
This is illegal in tournament play is it not? As a judge this would definitely count as note taking to me
Haven't faced any issues with it, and there's definitely an adaptation you can do without upside down don!
