Hindi ko sya binoto. But with his SONA, it seems he knows what he's talking about. Unlike the previous administration. And I'm all for it. I'm looking forward to all of it. Let's give him time and chance. After all, it is us Filipinos who should be benefiting from this. I especially like that he mentioned about granting assistance and lands to farmers. And hindi man sya ang ginusto kong manalo, he's still my president. He's who the majority voted for. And I'm all for it.

Pareho tayong Ramos at hindi ko rin siya binoto. You said the same words as the other lady, "it seems he knows what he's talking" which means you are not sure if he really knows but you're all for it, kinda deceptive mixed with ambivalence. I hope you read more about land reform, about the farmer's obligation once he's awarded ownership sans any financial obligations. It is somehow punitive to the original owner if the government will not pick up the tab. Then without any law restricting the new owner of selling or rezoning his new owned parcel, the land previously being tilled to produce rice could be idle or rezoned thus resulting into lower rice production which is contrary to Marcoses plans. Lots and lot of factors about farming: tractor, fertilizers, pesticides, harvesting, drying, tilling etc. Do you think all the awardees can finance all those expenses for a good harvest. I am just a farmer but you may have a better perspective. Good luck!

And while I sounded ambivalent, my intention was not to deceive. Neither it is to sway anyone to feel the same. We're all entitled to make own opinion anyway. But I'd rather lean towards instilling hope. And yes, I could already be hoping against hope. But what else is there for our farmers? They've always been on the receiving end when reforms fail, or worse, shelved. I agree with what you said about the repercussions on both sides - the original owner, who may or may not even get compensated reasonably, and the supposedly new owner whose new land, if with no law restricting them of reselling, could just be of no use to farming again. I totally agree with you on this. It's just that it's about time our farmers get the needed attention. And as you've said, more than being awarded the land, there's a lot more they'll need to spend on. But I'm hoping we'll get there. I came from a family of farmers myself. And while my folks were not like those who till for someone else, we own our lands. And we felt those struggles such as having to go through a middle man who'll just our produce at a very cheap price, when the fertilizer we use are far more expensive. We ended up paying more than we're earning. Eventually, that stopped the next generations from investing in farming or to just even consider it. I do feel for the farmers.

The way he speaks makes me feel that we have a proper statesman back in Malcaṉang. Don’t get me wrong, i liked Digong and I found him charming as he bought realness and integrity in politics but Marcos also seems to have a different charm altogether. I hope Duterte and Marcos will always have a good relationship with each other.

Try to watch carefully. 1 hour +++ speech wont be possible without clear and detailed "kodigo"...lahat po ng "values" and "numbers" that he cited during thw speech must be precise and accurate. Otherwise pwede po xang magkamali. Yes, may teleprompter po sa harap nya, kaliwa at kanan. Ofcourse, di yan ipapakita. Kasi mawawala ang focus ng tao sakanya. ✌️

Kahit sinong presidente may appointed speech writer sila. They are experts of what they do. Even the presidents of the USA and other big countries.
