The question will be why there is unrealiable money in the first place, you already are punished for dying givin gold and exp to enemies, why you also have to lose money
You buy items and use that gold first so dying and bh ability don't matter
It was much complicated back then. So it made more sense. It's the same kind of stuff as orb effects (which are gone) and attack types (which are now present in ui as a passive ability when units are selected for example lane creeps)
why do u care so much its content
This is so if carries died for their misplays, they're punished and lose gold, But if supports die, they don't lose as much gold. This allows supports to catch up in items later on.
So that death can be a setback larger than just not being alive for a bit, and without needing death timers to be unpleasantly long. Both the difference between the amount of money you and your opponents have, and the absolute amounts, are things a designer may want to be able to fiddle with separately
would be funny to see a team buff build. the ogre multicast ult and bloodlust, magnus empower, omniknight repel, shadow priest shallow grave and legion commander heal.

I so glad you picked up the Shard at the end, because Fervor has a Shard effect that's similar to Muerta's Gunslinger! It's a whole extra attack with attack modifiers too!
