You know what I like best about this game? The credits. Instead of Kirby interacting with names or images of Kirby's adventures, this one shows the Animal Buddies, Whispy, and Dedede looking at Kirby who wakes up and starts playing around with the rainbow sword and CONSISTENTLY waving to the player. It's very satisfying to see Kirby restore the rainbow at the end as well!

If I remember correctly, the boss theme still plays when fighting a boss, especially of you have an animal pal, because the theme is fitting for a boss fight.
@ZcareKrow Gooey is literally the same size as Kirby while the Blobs are Bigger than Kirby I have a Sprite Comparison, also they didn't appear in the Japanese Version of the game because Chao and Goku from Famicom Fairytales appeared in the game

This is how the game pretty much should,ve look like on the supergameboy because eventrough those cut scenes are in full color and the colors do change per level, BUT those main levels are not in full color, they are just monochrome. But this dx version is just pretty much perfect😁
I played this game a *_LOT_* on my 2DS back in the day. Loved it, but was admittedly bummed out that despite you collecting Rainbow Drops, the game was originally monochromatic. And even though the Super Game Boy palettes are fine, I still wanted a *_fully_* colorized version. When this mod came out, I was excited. Finally! The version I'd wanted for several years is here! I blazed through it in one sitting. The new color palettes look amazing (probably the best GBC color hack next to the Megaman World GB games) and I appreciate the quality of life improvements via the upgraded hardware; no slowdown, the ability to toggle the Animal Friends themes off so they no longer take over the stage music and I even like how you're able customizable the HUD. Needless to say, I can no longer go back to the original monochrome version now that DX exists lol.

By the way, there was actually a collaboration with Sonic the Hedgehog, Final Fantasy, and Street Fighter II in the project of Dr. Slump(Heisei Remake ver) manga that was published in V Jump. I think Akira Toriyama has probably Game played Kirby as well. (I think he was also interested in video games because he had ties to the video game industry, including Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, and Blue Dragon.)
