This is Riots Kpop girl group. It was originally to promote skins for the champions: Ahri(nine tail fox), Akali(rapper), Kai’sa(shoulder pieces), and Evelynn(nails and shades). It is now way more than that, they are a full fledged kpop group now. They even have their own EP and Lightstick! Ahri - Miyeon of G-idle Akali - Soyeon of G-idle Kai’sa - Jaira Burns Evelynn - Madison Beer Kai’sa and Evelynn have been voiced by other artists as well in other songs. This track recently went gold this year and the group has been beating records set my real kpop girl groups. They have done “photoshoots” with Louie Vuitton, Ducati, Elle Magazine and others. They have also done a couple interviews with real people. Akali’s motorcycle in More was actually custom made by Ducati. Check out their 2018 live performance for popstars!
You can see the people behind the avatars at the live performance of this song at the LoL World Tournament where they have the Avatars projected on the stage while the actual people sing. Also, their song "More" is a true banger.
If you like K/DA and True Damage, you should check out Pentakill, they're Riot's metal group, and the first group that they put out actual music for. Pentakill now has three full albums.
I guess there will be a lot of people that want to check out LoL cinematics after Arcane and get really confused on how KDA fits into the same world as Piltover and Zaun. Spoler: They don't. K/DA is a skin line (i.e. the champions "wear" this skin) and is outside of the "normal" lore. By the way, Popstars was animated by Fortiche, same company as did Arcane.
Just a heads up, Riot generally never strikes anyone who uses their stuff. They actually encourage you to react to it or use it in other ways. The only property they have that is getting striked would be arcane related...which IIRC is because of netflix and not riot. Anyhoo, just found your channel because of all this video, subbed for your sabaton reactions. edit: they decided to go Kpop for this because it was a song released when the worlds tournament was in korea. Riot also has a metal band named "Pentakill" and another group called "True Damage"
Just a heads up, two songs that get in trouble is "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons and "Ignite" by Zedd, since those two were in earlier days of league and they didnt have full rights over them.
@@bartoszbartosiewicz1123 Yep, it seems that the two Imagine Dragons songs and Ignite are added to the list from what I've seen. Thanks for the update.
Ekko/Little Man is also in a group. Check out Riot’s Hip Hop group, True Damage. It features Becky G, Keke Palmer, Soyeon, thutmose, and duckworth. They have an MV and live performance for their song, Giants
Yo I died when you started throwing gang signs 😂 2:38. I love you videos man. So detailed when discussing the songs and your reactions keep me coming back ! Keep it up man. P.s I finished your dan vas playlist. The songs and artist you find are fire ! 🔥 most of them get added to my workout playlist 💪🏾
Dave, I am pretty sure you have checked out the K-Pop Girl Group called (G)IDLE in the past (or I could be remembering things wrong, which would figure; I could easily be going senile). Two of the group's members vocalized for KDA. Soyeon is the Main Rapper of (G)IDLE (and she does SO MANY other things in that group, too!) and now also of KDA (she obviously voices their rapper, Akali. Miyeon is the Main Vocalist of (G)IDLE and she voices Ahri, the Nine-tailed Fox girl. The Korean way to explain positions in the groups seems backward to me; using the term 'Main' for any specific position means that person is the best in the group for that one thing. 'Lead' in any position means the person is second-best, right after the 'Main', and then followed by others in the group. Some groups even have positions that include the title 'Sub' for some positions. I always thought the word 'Lead' should denote the best person in whatever position because they would be out in front; 'Main' would be after 'Lead'. So for me, those positions are backward for how they named then in English.
Neither True Damage (hip hop) nor K/DA (kpop/edm) were first. Pentakill (metal) was Riot's first venture into music, using champions reimagined as band members.
Dude paused to talk about the visuals right before the arguably best part both visuals and audio of the entire video with Akali's rap. I can only imagine the feel.
Without the Korean War and American intervention, South Korea would have been conquered and turned into the same place as the communist North Korea, there wouldn’t be a thriving technocratic society that became a great country that puts out technology and video games and movies and stuff like Squid Game. It’s sad that the Korean War is largely forgotten. It was like a nightmare so gruesome, it couldn’t survive the memory of the next morning. It’s forgotten except for those who were really there.. “I haven’t had a bath in ten days. We live like cavemen. You should check out he "League of Legends opening ceremony 2018" where the original singers are performing together with the virtual characters. The sound is obviously a bit different, but it was REALLY cool.
My guy you have to check out Pentakill! League of Legends metal band that is seriously good! They have a few albums out, and "Mortal Reminder" is one hell of an animated video!

2:53 - Yep, that's the K/DA stank face. Love it.
It's the same studio (Fortiche) who made this music video and Arcane :)

🤣
I've heard it said (jokingly) that League is just promotional material for their music lol
Glad they didn't do anything to change your reaction videos. I guess they want people to react to their content.
You should check out the live performances also for KDA and for WORLDS
Check out the True Damage video.
