Now How to install MinGW w64?
Step 1. First You need to download MinGW for Windows 10/11. For that just go to the following link:
sourceforge.net/projects/ming...
This page will lead to the MinGW-w64 - for 32 and 64 bit Windows Sourceforge download page.
Here find the exe setup installation file as shown in the video and click on it to download.
Now after downloading MinGW-w64 save the file to the disk and follow the next step for installation.
Step 2. Install MinGW-w64
Double-click to run the MinGW installation file. Just follow the prompt as shown in the video • How to install MinGW-w... and install MinGW-w64 on your OS.
Step 3. Now you need to set the environment variables, so you need to paste the bin path. If you face any difficulty just follow the video.
What’s the MinGW w64 compiler?
- MinGW, formerly mingw32, is a free and open-source software development environment for creating Microsoft Windows applications. The development of the MinGW project has been forked with the creation in 2005-2008 of an alternative project called Mingw-w64.
The instructions in this video tutorial can be applied to laptops, desktops, computers, and tablets that run Windows 10 operating systems like Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Professional, Windows 10 Enterprise, and Windows 10 Education. Thanks for this video. I recommend using 7zip and downloading the 7z instead of the zip file for the compiler files. It reduces the extraction time exponentially.

I think that "x86_64-win32-seh" is suitable for Win, right ?
The folder mingw that downloaded is different. has it changed lately? it doesn't update my version even thought I pasted the whole contents of the folder. still reports as ver 6.3. I find it odd that the web installer still uses older version.

you downloaded propably the .sha256 file - it is only verification key. You have to download bigger file about 100MB
