- The premiere of the biographical documentary "STORY OF RAFAEL AGHAYEV" of multiple world and European champion on karate WKF Rafael Aghayev.
The film was created by R19 production.
The rights to the film are registered and belong to the printed edition of the (media) "BOETS INFO" (certificate PI № FS 77-60291, 19.12.2014).

It was an honor to train with Rafael in NYC in 2013 for 3 days. I was able to spend time with him and his coach as well. He had legs that just would not quit, and the true desire a champion needs.
I recall the first night he trained with everyone in the seminar, but he had a gi, a warm up suit and his team jacket on! He never stopped moving like his father said.
The next morning he got up before everyone else and worked out on his own for 3 hours. He met us for breakfast or early lunch, and then he ran the seminar the same way in his gi, warm up suit and his team jacket. Never once did I see him tire.
I was so happy to see him win his 5th world championship this year. He is to karate what Michael Jordan was to basketball, and Tom Brady is to football. His legacy will go on forever.
I wish he would’ve gotten into mma, Muay Thai or Sanda. He definitely would’ve fit in with Saenchai and other Jockey gym fighters

@@turalqv7001 he’s really good in karate combat. Unfortunately, Karate Combat doesn’t have the best competition (but they do have a lot of good fighters) and it’s really new, so his reputation from Karate Combat wouldn’t be as high as his reputation if he had gone into kickboxing.

I practice TKD, and I was this close to give up, because I always take a beating in sparring because I'm short... I have the same hight as Rafael... And seeing what he did... He's a true fighter, I salute him!
