The egg and bunnies came from Pagen traditions. They worshiped the Godess of Fertility named ESHTAR. Long story but spring was the time of new life (bunnies multiplied like crazy) and of course the egg is a symbol of birth. As Christianity grew people didn't want to abandon their traditions. Traditions has always seemed more important than Truth. There is no Hebrew word for Easter. Jesus was a Jew and he died on the Cross on Passover, was buried on the FEAST of First Fruits and Rose from the grave on the Feast of Unleavened Bread ( Jesus said he is the Bread of Life and he knew no sin) the word Easter came from the worshiping ESHTAR. No connection to any Thing to do with Christianity or Jesus! But instead of correcting the truth, we still feel it's more important to go along with tradition. Oh this is so exciting! I’ve had a fascination with Faberge Eggs since I stumbled across a documentary on them and the royal family when I was a kid. It was the one on the History Channel (at least that’s what it was called in America), so early 2000s I think, even though it’s been so long I remember how amazed that a person/people could make something so stunning. I’ll have to try this out when I have an opportunity to do so.

I was all set to make the pink one today and I didn't have the pink rhinestones!!! I ordered everything else and somehow overlooked them. I think they are beautiful and will make beautiful gifts. The pink one is mine!

should do an egg with the clear iridescent glitter and gems, one with a darker pink glitter and pink and clear irridescent gems, then pink and tourquoise gems, yellow glitter and yellow gems and amber gems.maybe try some mini Faberge eggs using plastic easter eggs then you could hinge them using ribbon or necklace chain and line with a layer of thin batting and either satiny or velvet material.
