Music Behind the mind by Zero-project
One of the best winery's in South Australia and a must visit location in the McLaren Vale winery district just south of Adelaide.
Enjoy a tasting of a selection of d’Arenberg wines in the tasting room, open daily from 10:30am to 4:30pm
For generations, d'Arenberg have championed this versatile grape variety.
Dating all the way back to the 1980's, d’Arry Osborn refused to remove his old Grenache vineyards during the vine pull scheme.
Today, d’Arenberg is the keeper of nearly one third of McLaren Vale’s old bush vine Grenache, earning the title of ‘The Custodian’ of the variety,
and bearing the famous Red Stripe.
In the spirit of all things Grenache, we invite you to join us for a tasting of some of d'Arenberg's heroes.
THE STORY
The idea to build the d'Arenberg Cube came to Chester Osborn in 2003.
Inspired by the complexities and puzzles of winemaking, Chester created the idea of a cube-shaped building.
Each of the five levels have been carefully designed to entice and excite the senses, including features such as a wine sensory room, a virtual fermenter, a 360degree video room, and many other tactile experiences.
Visitors are encouraged to explore the Alternate Realities Museum, located on the ground floor, and view the many art installations on display.
