Wow, I really like the way this looks! This is probably my favourite animatic/mation that I've seen so far for 'Love in Paradise', it's nice that you included the darker part of the song, a lot of animatics/mations that I've seen often exclude it.

I am barely ever commenting on anything on youtube, but i have to now: This is by FAR my favorite animation to "Love in Paradise". I love Calypsos design, her hair flowing. The dramatic movements from Ody. I also like his youngish style. Like deep down in his heart, he is still the young man he was, when he left. AND THE BEACH SCENE!! TEARS!! THIS is ART at its finest.

I CAN'T GET OVER HOW FAB AND FLOWY HER HAIR IS. her flowing hair and the way her eyes are hypnotic!! it makes you really feel how threatening and oppressive she is and how powerless ody is against her even though she sounds so sweet 😭AND OMFG the way the shadows close around ody 😭😭my heart 😭

Thanks! I didn’t use rotoscoping, but for one or two scenes, I filmed a video to see how it would look and used it as a reference. ^^
