Of the three main acapella groups, Pentatonix, Home Free, and VP, VoicePlay is considered the theater kids of the groups. They love to get into it and draw you in with them. This past year, they have really set the bar high. Every time you think they can't top this song, the next one is even better. Nice reaction, ladies!

His list is shorter because he only does every other month. He is not acapella. He clones himself 3-4 times for harmonies. Each with their own name... Jeff, Jeoph, Goff and Daryl. The first3 are misspelling and mispronounciaton of his name. Daryl is because Geoff needed a name for him and likes the name.
This one broke several reactors. Some were speechless, and some had to get up and walk away to recover. One of those even forgot he was only wearing his boxers!
That was hilarious!! And then reactors reacted to him reacting and then reactors reacted to reactors reacting to him and on and on 🤣
Which reactor was that?!?! I thought I'd seen most of them, but I missed this one!!

With Halloween coming up, you should definitely check out their "Nightmare Before Christmas" covers. As well as Geoff's cover of "The Headless Horseman".
This remains one of my favorites from VoicePlay. It's just so good and fun to watch too! This one and "We Don't Talk About Bruno." I never get tired of them!

I don't remember if I've suggested this to you before, but I highly recommend Voiceplay's cover of "Just Sing". It's a massive collaboration with many other a capella artists. If/when you do react to it, be sure to turn on the captions. They included information about who everyone is (as well as some rather snarky remarks).

You've now seen two of their more theatrical style videos and I love those but to be fair their more straightforward ones are just as impressive. This one to me is a whole body exoerience. :) Lovely reaction. Another favourite of mine is The Dragonborn Comes , from the game Skyrim. It doesn't matter if you aren't a gamer, either, I'm not and still love it.

Actually, the two groups were both in season four of "The Sing-Off" back in 2013 and did have a singing duel then. I believe you can find it here on UA-cam.
To get a good idea of Geoff's range, I HIGHLY suggest watching Oogie Boogie, and for a fun time, follow that right up with Nightmare Before Christmas.

I loved your reactions to this! Your faces were so expressive. The morning after I watched the finale of "Supernatural" I got a notification from UA-cam that Voiceplay had just dropped their cover of "Carry On Wayward Son", and it did not disappoint. If you're not familiar with the song, or the show, the song is basically the theme for the show, played during the opening credits.

Ladies - I know you enjoy the themed pieces that VoicePlay do, and I don't want to discourage you from them. But try out their other stuff, too. Start with "Just Sing", a multi-artist collaboration and fundraising work they did during lockdown. And by all means, listen to their cover of the Metallica song "Nothing Else Matters" and one of their newest pieces, a cover of Radiohead's song "Creep". [A word of warning - have tissues and waterproof mascara for "Creep" - it's a very emotional piece]. Looking forward to more reactions, and many thanks!
I don’t believe I have ever watched reactors who did not sway as the hair singing yo ho. And you three were no different!
This is one of the earliest theatrical pieces. They don’t always dress up as much as you have seen in the two that you did react to, but they do try to put some sort of storyline in a lot of their pieces.
Recently they dropped their cover of Creep originally by Radiohead. Cesar, who was new to the group in this one, is very expressive and really showed his vulnerability in the recent one.
For something that is not theatrical just straight up singing you might consider looking at their cover of Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. Or if you like something a little older, try their cover of Elvis’s I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.
Looove your reactions! If you want to see the lighter side of VP, I recommend their "Boybands" mashup and their Encanto "We Don't Talk About Bruno" cover. Or any of their Disney medleys, they are all fantastic!
This was arranged by Geoff; Valhalla Calling was arranged by Layne, the beatboxer, and I think these two are the best covers the group has ever done. So much intensity in both!
Would love more Voiceplay and Geoff Castellucci reactions! A super fun one from the group would be their Moana Medley or their Little Mermaid Medley. As far as Geoff goes, his cover of Elvis' "Way Down" is a lot of fun, and his cover of Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine" showcases his range pretty well.

Great reactions! You really should check out another one of Geoff Castellucci's solo covers. His version of 16 Tons is fun but all his stuff is incredible. Man of Constant Sorrow and Folsom Prison Blues really vibrate your bones with the low notes. You won't regret going down that rabbit hole.

If no one has recommended them yet, I'd love to see you ladies react to The Bass Gang. My favorites of theirs are "The Emperor's New Clothes," "Hide and Seek (feat. Lauren Paley)," "Yellow Flicker Beat (feat. Colm McGinnis)," "Hooked on a Feeling (feat. Tim Foust)," and "Bury a Friend." They are truly amazing.
Pretty stinking cool aren't they!!?? I have said before I am a Home Fry through and through, but these gents are such a damn close second it isn't funny. They BY FAR are the most theatrical of the Acapella groups. First time I heard this I had the same exact face you all had and I was all alone listening to it. Geoff is stupid with his lows, Eli (pronounced El-E) and his highs, and Caesar with his 100% commitment to the theme as usual. Layne does an amazing job with all the beat boxing as usual. Glad you ladies enjoyed it and there is never a bad choice of song with these guys.

This was my favorite VP song until "Valhalla Calling" came out. Now it's in second place, and I listen to it all night, as I sleep. The rapping in "Valhalla Calling" is so good, but not soothing enough to sleep to.
