Camogli is not only the village of Camogli, it's also several small villages belonging to te municipality, like Ruta di Camogli, San Rocco, Mortola, Mulini, San Fruttuoso di Camogli (a beautiful cove with a X Century abbey). Camogli is part of Portofino's natural park: a wildlife reserve with more than 50 miles (80 km) of hicking trails and a marittime protected area. I first came in Camogli 55 years ago, when I was only 12 years old, I fell in love with this piece of paradise and a few years ago I choose to live there. Came to visit us, but, please, don't do it in a hurry. Take your time. Do it slowly. Bring your trekking shoes. Go snorkeling at Punta Chiappa. Go swimming at dawn at Niasca, between Paraggi and Portofino. And, if it's possible avoid August, when most of Italian people are on holidays, there are a lot of foreing tourists and it's all crowdy.
