The two break down Lamar's game and dive into a comment Vick made which he crowned Lamar as a more dynamic runner than himself. Vick made people miss inside the pocket. The way he would maneuver the pocket and then take off was special. These new QBs have designed runs. Vick had to improvise every play.
Lamar does the same thing in the pocket better. Vick had more designed runs with the Falcons. And just as many as Lamar while he was with the eagles.

Vicks arm was insane. The same with his running ability. He was before his time. Ppl forget how great of an arm he had because he out ran everyone on the field. If you were around to see Vick play it was scary.
Absolutely. Vick had a cannon. One of my favorite passes ever, was the 1st play in 2010 Redskins vs. Eagles Monday Night Massacre.
His accuracy was also terrible 56 percent and only had 22 thousand passing yards

Passing and arm strength it’s Vick no comparison. Go back and look at some of Vick’s highlights where he throws the deep ball, some of the best throws I’ve ever seen and sometimes his feet weren’t even set....Beautiful throwing motion.
In terms of running, it’s up for grabs, either could be picked in that category.

As an FSU Alumni that was a different Florida State, also that same year LSU dog walked them in a Bowl Game. He proved me wrong though I didn’t think his skills would transfer over to NFL like they did.

As a panthers fan I have many terrible memories of Vick utterly shredding the defense. There was a time when regardless of the defense, regardless of the play call, Mike would scramble and either break off a massive run or buy time and find someone wide open 50 yards downfield because he could scramble for longer than db’s could cover
I think y’all forget Vick himself said he got the playbook in his rookie year, threw it in the trunk, and never looked at it again. Imagine if he took the game seriously. Best athlete to ever step foot on a football field.

Vick had better ball speed and could air it out further than Jackson. Jackson also doesn't have the same ability to throw without his feet set. Look at Vick's highlights. It never made any difference whether his feet were set.
Vick also had to throw back when DBs could actually hammer recievers. That makes a big difference in the number of legitimate throwing opportunities.

Everyone forgets how Vick had a cannon. The only reason why Vick wasn't a great passer is because he is self proclaimed didn't work at it. When he did he had a great season in phili. Lamar works at it and is still an avg to below avg passer. Vick is also faster. I take Vick everyday of the wk. Twice on Sunday.

Jackson might have a more refined game but he without question is not the once in a lifetime athlete mike was. He was without a doubt the fastest guy on the field most games with the lateral ability of Barry sanders and an absolute rocket for an arm.

@@ivorianking6942 based on current team roster and possible upside due to draft picks and/or cap space I'd go with Miami, San Francisco, Vikings, Falcons, Titans, Jets, Commanders, Lions, Saints. I want Lamar to get his 💰, but also be similar to Mahomes and structure the contract where the team is able to add pieces around him and/or keep the talent the team already has should he go to another team with nice talent on deck. 🤷♂️ Die hard Ravens fan here. 💪

Vick wasn't that big. He couldn't do designed runs like they have now, he'd get too beat up. Mike took off when there was man coverage for big gains in the open field, that can't be recreated with option plays. Kyler is also small, and that's why he does the same

Reason 2. Organization. Vick got drafted #1 To a losing franchise. Lamar got drafted to a stable franchise and front office.

Reason 4. The Ravens is a great organization. Lamar mvp year they had the number 3 total defense. And #1 rushing defense. Vick never had a top defensive team
