This man and his music has helped me combat depression by meditating with his music. He speaks few words yet his music speaks volumes that transends the cosmos. Sit in a quiet room and close your eyes listen to the music and let your mind open to your imagination.

This great man is a great example on how we humans are actually like electric conductors. Letting energy come in, sending it back out with our own touch. How perfectly this man has mastered this art, it's incredible! I love the music he 'channels' ;).
Everyone does this in plenty more than one way. For example, taking in reflected light and making a moving picture in our brain. That is simple. Yet this man translates various outer/inner impulses to sound, which he also trained. As he said in the interview; nature was and still is his teacher.
As some of us or even a lot might have guessed, the reason the western world, especially America, has so much influence world wide is due to having lesser culture. Culture is beautiful don't get me wrong, but with culture comes traditions which are remnants of past knowledge which are mostly not fully understood now days. These traditions tend to imprison individual development as we have certain rules we follow without fully comprehending them. Comparing this idea to the individual Kitaro, works. As he stated himself that he only wants to learn from himself and not from master musicians who play the traditional Japanese instruments. If this man had first learned to play text book style, who knows maybe he wouldn't have achieved this sincere connection with nature to such an extent.
A wise man once said that this man is borne for the purpose of bringing this music to the world. From this perspective I find it quite intriguing as he stated that his band members in Japan got sick so he learned playing their instruments. The ways of the Universe work in such beautiful and mysterious ways... it fascinates me to no end.
The same wise man also said that silence ( Kitaro: "Quiet is the best music" ) is as powerful as a thousand voices.
I thank the wonderful interviewer for giving me a glimpse of how this man thinks. Peace
