In all seriousness, y'all, *please communicate with you trainer* ! If your trainer is pushing you to do certain things, especially with *your diet* that you *do not* want , tell them! Tell them that it doesn't line up with *your goals* ! Training should always be about *you* and your goals, *not* about the trainer and how well they can Show You Off as some sort of "success story". If a trainer is *blatantly ignoring* your personal goals and pressuring you to follow _their goals_ instead, it's time not to have that trainer anymore. (I'm not saying that this is Mark's case, don't get me wrong! I've just had some negative, personal experiences where people try to take away my own bodily autonomy so hearing Mark complain about a diet that it doesn't sound like he asked for in the first place kinda brought back some bad personal memories)
Nah friend I think you’re good. It’s important to remind people about stuff like this. Mark probably wouldn’t do it if he didn’t want to but sometimes people need to be reminded that just because they hear someone complaining about their diet/ training/ whatever else doesn’t mean it’s good or normal for YOUR trainer to ignore your goals in favor of their own. Totally see what you were saying :)&
Good reminder. I'm pretty sure Mark is doing it to bulk up for the boxing event in a couple months, though. It's probably for aesthetics only so he's making himself do it for a little bit.
@@jdliwlltalks4635 it does seem to fit with Mark's goals, otherwise ideally he'd stop/tell his trainer it isn't what he wants. It's just the way Mark talks about it that makes me want to remind other people that if They are miserable or feeling pressured that they should discuss things with their trainer. In Mark's case, I think he's just share-complaining with friends. But yeah, protein intensive diets are usually all about that muscle build and have been the choice for many actors who play dramatically buff characters on screen-so how Gaston efforts are very possibly for the movie!
I love when you guys add the occasional unique movement or facial expression to the animated Peens. Would love to see Lixian take one of these episodes, and jizz his magic all over the animation, even if just for one special edition episode 🙏💜
Came here to say that at first, I thought Mark was stretching out his tongue in the thumbnail (Speaking of the thumbnails, they are fantastic and are half the reason why I'm subscribed to this channel)
If a trainer recommends a drastic diet like (almost) all protein, for the love of God check with your doctor about it first. My dad has CKD and went on a carnivore diet and it pretty much ruined his organs because his kidneys can't process protein much at all. He was/is very much a meat & potatoes kinda guy and now he has to strictly limit what he cannot eat -- which mostly includes protein, potassium and phosphorus. So if you have or might have a pre-existing condition, regardless if you do or not, always check with a doctor. You might accidentally do more harm than good.
I'm with Wade. I eat those things that I want! (I watch sugar levels a lot and keep things to good portions but if I want a thing imma have a thing. I want to enjoy stuff! I'm not an actor, a model, or a bodybuilder. I'm a simple humanoid who just wants to enjoy my time on this big blue rock!)
I guarantee after eating ANY kind of sugar or carb after that diet, your intestines are going to just UNLOAD in minutes, I mean if you are lucky maybe your body will go "hey sugar isn't that good lets just....." and then diarrhea.
Mine usually just goes to constipation. From regular on meat, cheese, milk to absolute unrivalled constipation the second any carb or sweet enters my gut. Unless it's chocolate. Chocolate doesn't like me and wants to escape.
This is just Mark either promoting his trainer or his OF... And I'm here for it (。•̀ᴗ-)✧ Also all this freaking after the OF... Like keep us updated (╥﹏╥)
I'm doing 3B&E and I miss cheese, SO BAD. But Mark, if you ever see this, look into Redman's Real smoked salt. It's from the US and it helps meat taste different enough to not drive you nuts. Wrapping stuff in bacon is also valid.
As someone who's on almost the same diet (I don't get fruit), Mark's reaction is SUCH A MOOD. I've been counting the days until I'm done since day 1- The diet is called Carnivore btw, although Mark seems to be doing a different variation on it
The more I think about this the more it bothers me. I don't want you unhappy. You would be beautiful no matter what size and you are active enough you'd always be healthy and strong. Just cuz it's good for Alex doesn't mean it's good for you. Even if he means well. lol. Sneak your spegetti. I love you. 💗💗💗💗
It is crazy how much money has been spent on dieting advice when all you need to know is... 1.) Eat protein 2.) Keep carbohydrates to less than 50g-200g, per day, depending on if you're male or female and how active you are I do agree with Bob it sucks you have to be careful about the sauces you consume when on a low sugar diet. Most sauces you get at a normal restaurant or fast food place probably have at least 50-100g of sugar. Which basically cancels out your day. Even if you're ordering a salad, then the dressing often comes with ridiculous sugar levels. I mostly stay to mustard and hot sauces because they tend to be on the menu in most places and they are low on sugar. Other than that you have to bring your own.
It would help with dieting, but I'd argue that if you up protein intake, whether or not you get your energy from carbs or fat is of secondary importance, so long as the carbs are resistant, such as with whole-grains, beans or vegetables.
Carbs are what your brain use to stay functioning properly carbs aren't good or bad high carb diets can and do work but depend on the individual and what you do athletes use high carb diets because they are typically running/active for more than 5+ hours. as long as your consistently moving and eating within your maintenance you'll be fine if your goal is to gain strenth protein surplus if you want to have more energy and do longer cardio sessions like sprinting for long distances carbs helps a lot. Keeping carbs low also tanks energy it's why people get really bad brain fog on keto and it's what your brain uses it's really about finding what works for you end of the day it's calories in calories out
I'll be honest: While listening to the episode, I thought they were saying "Kido" not "Keto". Personally, I never heard of keto before so I just filled it in with what I knew & got confused for a while.
i know mark wont see this but anyone who does, i use to have an ED, if your hungry and tired, that’s probably your body telly you this isn’t enough!!! it isn’t healthy to be hungry all the time, i learned that the hard way, and i still struggle with eating to this day, please god please, listen to your body, (and a medical professional’s opinions) on what your doing!!!

This is a weird diet to put someone on if the goal is protein, you know, considering carbs are protein-sparing. 100% the getting stronger would be either (or possibly both) his previous diet straight up didn't have enough protein in it to start with, or because he's taking in way more calories than he used to because he can "eat til he's full."
I once did raw vegan which is nothing but raw fruit and vegetables for 7 months straight. I lost some weight and I felt great, plus I got stronger but no bigger muscles It lasted 3 months lol
no shade to mark at all but this just seems so unhealthy and depressing. being on a diet that you hate so much just for the benefits to immediately disappear when you stop? you’ll be happier when you stop and can eat what you want but then end up getting bummed out when you lose your musculature, it’s completely lose-lose
As a Registered Dietitian, this whole talk makes me want to barf all over his personal trainer. He sounds miserable from cutting out an entire essential food group. I wonder why *sarcasm*. All that trainer is teaching him is to starve and restrict himself to look and feel stronger
What's the point of 'going on a diet' if you don't stick with it? Like if you do it for too long it will be bad, why do it in the first place? Edit: This legit sounds like an ED in the making. :/
Who is his trainer? Is it not still Alex? Cuz a trainer shouldn't be pushing a "diet" on someone they don't wanna do. They should be teaching about lifestyle changes to your eating rather than call it a diet so it becomes apart of your daily routines. High protein of course for muscle maintenance/growth, teach that carbs aren't evil etc. It's like 80% of your fitness and then 20% to training
About diet I recommend MissFitandNerdy to find UR perfect diet as everyone is different. Some feel fuller with carbs, others with healthy fats including protein. Anyway, she changed my life! Be healthy and discovering my body what is good for my specific gut and stuff.
just a reminder to everyone that "as low carb as you can manage" can go bad *very* quickly. True zero carb cuts out all fruits and veggies which leads to serious vitamin deficiences. People you see who are on a true zero carb/carnivore diet long-term will likely end up hospitalized. This type of dieting is called orthorexia, an eating disorder where someone becomes obsessed with "clean" eating to the point where they cut out necessary nutrition. Doing it short term to look good for an event or whatever is still risky but probably fine as long as you have a hard end date, but trying it with a nebulous or no end date is extremely dangerous, especially if you're prone to body dysmorphia, depression, or other mental illness. Tik tok especially has caused a huge increase in disordered eating under the guise of "health" with things like the clean girl trend and weightlifting lifestyle videos. edit: forgot to mention that obsessive-compulsive disorder particularly puts you at risk for disordered eating.
There are no vitamins in fruits or vegetables you don't get from meat. Liver has the needed copper, which is the only real thing you can miss out on. You say "will likely" because you have no idea. You only say what you think will happen. I've only consume pork, milk, liver, and butter for 6 years. And I had scurvy before the diet, while eating oranges and apples on a normal diet. I almost lost my teeth before I went low-carb. I later found out glucose fights with vitamin C for access to cells so if you eat too much sugar or carbs you don't actually absorb vitamin C. No scurvy on carnivore either, because fresh meat has vitamin C. When you test for it in a lab it comes up at 3-8% per serving. For me who eats 2.5lbs, that's 70% vitamin C RDA. No vitamin deficiency on it either. My bloodwork comes back so perfect all my doctor says is "keep doing whatever you are".
