Summer here in the UK... or at least, it's supposed to be. The weather hasn't quite made up its mind yet. This chicken soup will be good for those crappy days we're bound to have every week. I've never made this kind of thing before. I'm excited! ^_^ On a side note - I like the real and honest feel of your videos. The way that they aren't staged, or at least don't seem like it, is a huge credit to you.
hey thanks i appreciate the love :) .... we roll as naturally as possible, two mate literally running around bondi with a heap of food ha ha all shot in one take, bloopers, shenanigans and all ha ha . i think theres way to many stage perfect kitchen cooking shows, we just want to have as much fun with it as possible and take the intimidation away from cooking .... cheers Guy
that is the way to do it! No store bought stock, great looking soup! Packed with great nutrients.. fighting a bit of a cold myself I think i'll have to cook some of this!
I'll eat soup any time of the year, so I made this the other day despite it being summer. Fantastic recipe! It was easy, made the kitchen smell amazing, and was (most importantly) extremely delicious. I don't see how anyone could go back to eating the stuff out of a can after making this. Thank you!
The fennel seeds gave a odd aniseed flavour that I wasn't expecting. Wasn't my fave but... a decent recipe if you want to try new flavours. Any tips to make the broth more flavoursome? It came off a little watery on my attempt but I did double the recipe to have for a family meal.
from the 9-year-old: It looks delicious. (And great beach clothes!) from the 6-year-old: That soup looks beautiful and awesome. and i'd like to go to where you live. looks cool. from me: yum. loving your channel. peace from brooklyn!
is it cold in bondi now? want to go there but got no time :( i made bouillabaisse today, i don't really quite like the taste but it makes me feel so warm :) might try this when i'm not feeling really well
it is coming into winter in bondi but we have had a great run of weather .... we've had 2 weeks of sunny days and surf :) .... jumbo on my instergram @bondiharvest for a look, thanks for watching
Just made it and I doubled all of the ingridients besides chilli. In fact i just put the half of one chili and its soo hot for me! So glad i didnt put 2 whole chillis :D
I hate store bought chicken stock. I really do. I think they taste overly salty and artificial.. this looks so much better, seriously. and I kinda have a thing for chicken noodle soup so... hahaha this will come in handy soon, it's getting cold here as well ;) that dog imitation in the end though.. lol
+Bondi Harvest I'm not kidding :) if u were in FL US I'd try to make u this soup... then again that may not work out well if I found a way to burn the water hahaha just teasing great vid!
You def should promote your self to ABC Tv, you really should have a tv show :) gotta try not to wipe your nose on camera though lol :D Ok, im just a tv viewer, no one special, but I have just been spruiking your youtube cooking channel on ABC's tv Facebook page suggesting you would fit well with abc's philosophy. I hope it helps :)
Summer here too but a ridiculous flu going round, this is exactly what we need!!

Much love from California! Enjoy watching your recipes, was wondering what can I substitute the fennel seed with?
Ivana Carbajal hey :) …. you could just leave the fennel seeds out, the soup will still taste sooooooo good ha
I always do it this way. I add some carots and bellpeppers also.
that sounds really good :)
Yummy and easy,,,could you use red pepper flakes instead of the fresh chili?
yeah pepper flakes will work great
