First Video: • Tamiya CC-01 Mitsubish...
Third Video: • Tamiya CC-01 Mitsubish...
Beautiful paint job. Pajero is looking great. Forget the "Lucky Man" part, there was some skill there.
Hahah, thanks man! 😊
I like how detailed this body is! Those door handles, window frames, fuel tank cover etc.
Yes, Tamiya bodies are always very detailed! 👍
Hi Matteo ! Gratulation zu dieser Farbkombination ! You are really a lucky man !!!!
Wow! Ich dreh durch ab deinen tollen Kommentaren! 😅 Vielen Dank Willi!
That gunmetal looks great! Nice choice
Thanks!
Looks excellent, Matteo! I consider you Mr. Tamiya! I had some trouble painting a Sand Scorcher body for an MST CFX chassis & I must say it was the most troublesome thing I have ever done for an RC. You make it look easy, as usual! Thanks for all your great videos.
Thanks so much! With every body it's getting better and better...
love the colour choice... thumbs up for sure!!
Thanks!
Another great video!!! Because of your videos I have bought 20 Tamiya kits for about 2 years now =)
Sorry for that! But I hope you don't regret it! 😊
So kennt man dich!
Daumen ganz weit hoch! 😃👍
Very informative...not just before and after 🖒
Thanks! Glad to hear this! 👍

Tom.

Nice paintjob Matteo, I like the color choice. Greetings from Germany
Thank you very much! 👍😊
Great job buddy, looks amazing
Thanks!
Matteo.... that turned out beautiful!! Very nice indeed. 👏👏👍👍
I am going to do something though, that is against any of your followers.... Constructive Criticism!
Like I sayed, the paint job turned out GREAT! *However* as a former professional painter of the full scale Cars, you did one thing, that *shouldn't* have worked....
When spraying paint - *never* do short strokes, an zig-zag all over the body!! Yours worked, due mostly to careful, patient preparation of the body. However, the way you sprayed, can cause high and low spots in the finish, that may not show up for a long time!
You should get into the habit of - ONLY spraying horizontally (with a few exceptions). Always start spraying just before the body, and carry a steady, even stroke across. Don't stop spraying, until you are just past the other end of the body.
Go back and forth, straight lines, slightly overlapping the previous stroke.
Do each side separately, exactly the same way.
This method, will produce even, flatter, more complete coats of paint! Experience has shown that your paint job will look even BETTER! Judging by the work you've done so far, the results can only be spectacular!! 😎😀👍👍
Carmine 🚂
Yes, this is a very good advice. You are not alone, I got the same advice from another member. And I totally agree and will improve my technique in my next paint jobs. Here you can see the difference from someone who professionally painted cars. And as I wrote to the other member I think we all can help each other to get better skills in these things. So, I appreciate it very much and say thanks to you carmine! 👍😊
Great video as always 👍👍
Thank you! 😊
I like it! Great color choice too my friend!

Excellent , really great job !!
Merci!
I was waiting for this! Thanks Matteo!
Thanks! Nice to hear this! 😊
Matteo Magic !!
Thanks!
Good job-well done and thanks for sharing
Thanks Oberharzer! 😊
I used the exact same primer, colour and clear combination on a Tamiya 300SL and the clear melted the colour underneath, because the paint is lacquer paint. Luckily you don't seem to have had that problem.
Normally it should go without problems to use Tamiya paints and clear together. But the paint have to be completely dry.
Matteo's RC Movies I've used Tamiya metallic red with their clear over it with no problems at all. The light gun metal was was dried over a few days before covering it with the clear, but still the clear kinda melted the paint underneath. Very strange.
Ohh yes, this is strange. Should be not like this! 😳
Nice color choice! =)
Exactly
Thank you Steve!
Good job brother 👍 👍 👍 👍 thanks for sharing 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
Thanks for your fine feedback! 😊
Hi, nice choice!
I have an Pajero from 1993 and already removed the painting, but now I can't decide which color combination I should choose.
My first thought was dark blue metallic, but I can't find good real examples pictures of Tamiya colors.
Dark blue is nice. Tamiya TS-53 is a nice, dark metalic blue.
hi M R C M...
'
enjoy good nice job...
alot of work
very nice Colors
Thank you! 😊
perfekti Farbwahl Matteo :-)
Vielen Dank!
Bit late haha, but you could have tried bi-color paintwork like the exceed pajeros
I like your new intro!
Thanks! Glad to hear this! 😊
Very lucky (or very good ^^)
Thanks! 👍
nice video and look.
thumbs up
Thanks! 😊
Suuper
Danke!
I think maybe the camera doesn't show it, but how much would you say the TS-13 clear coat clears up the surface? Is the TS-13 necessary?
I think it changes not so much. It's not absolutely necessary in my opinion.
Geilä!
Merci! 👍
💯👍
🙏😊
Coole Farbe. Muss man den primer nutzen? Was ist der Vorteil? Gruß aus zh
Danke!
I love this song did you write it brah?
what is the yellow tape you are using?
This is Tamiya masking tape, works perfect to get clean proper edges. www.amainhobbies.com/tamiya-masking-tape-refill-10mm-tam87034/p125540
Hello !, do not you think it would be better to apply the varnish ts13 after painting the entire vehicle, including details of glass gums.
Thank you!
Hi Jose, No, if so everything have the same gloss. But glass gums and fenders should be keeped mat.
@@Matteomeier ahhh! Ok, ok. Very thanks!
Wots your favourite rc brand to work with?
Tamiya... 😊 and many others... 😃
Do you have to use surface primer on an abs or hard body? Or is it optional?
It's more optional. Not absolutely nesessary...
Hi nice job what version is this? im wanting to buy but i dont want to end up with a flimsy plastic body,i want same body as yours. i await reply 👍
It's Tamiya Item No. 47331 Pajero Metaltop Wide www.tamiyausa.com/items/radio-control-kits-30/trucks-36500/rc-mitsubishi-pajero-47331
Please tell me friends why did you use surface primer ?
It improves the adhesion and It gives a bit smoother surface, especially when you sand after the primer is dry, with very fine sandpaper.
Matteo's RC Movies thank you 😊
where can I find or order a part from you ? I'm in Madagascar 😊😊 please !! For my son !!
Sorry I do not sell any parts. Have you tried it here: www.rcmart.com
or here: www.asiatees.com
@@Matteomeier thank you for responding. I will try
Nice job!!! What was the black paint code?
TS-6, You can see in 0:30
TS-6
Lol sorry I must of missed that part. Cheers.
Thanks! Seems the rest is already answered! 😊
Nice colour combo but your spraying technique is dreadful.
I've got good results over a long time, but can you explain me your technique, always good to know improvements...
Matteo's RC Movies
I find light even strokes left to right releasing the nozzle at the end if each stroke works best. No offence was intended in my first comment though.
Yes, this makes sense. Thanks for the tip, I'll try it on my next paintjob. I dit not felt it as offense, everything is ok, I appreciate tips and advices, nobody is perfect and we all can learn a lot from each other.
Nice Pajero! I have one too - took the easy way out and made it white (unpainted) with silver/gray fenders. And RC4WD wagon wheels and dirt grabbers, so it looks just like the one in this rig review :P ua-cam.com/video/DzytNmyGGOk/v-deo.html
I did add some metal badges from www.rc4x4-shop.com though.
What would you say about putting clear coat over the sticker layer? Would that protect the stickers in any way?
That's good! I don't know what happens when you overcoat the stickers. Never did this. I would say better to try it out on a waste part to be sure nothing bad happen.
