Thanks for this video Bro 😢…. Today marks the 3rd Anniversary of my Father passing. Bro I needed this today and this was right on time. People… if you still have your Mom and Dad around, please don’t take them for granted. You’re blessed 🙏🏾
Sorry to hear that fam 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Yk I was going to make a joke, but instead RIP
@@bloosixjr7505 your sick in the head bro
@@bloosixjr7505why would you even make a joke. There is no reason to make a joke.🤦🏾♀️
No there's a joke, but it'd be a dick move so i decided against it@@kurapika_o-o_9763
Respect to all the dads who keep trying to show us better even when they never got to know what better really was. And shoutout to all the dads that dont quit even if they give out.
Thank you
You said it perfectly
What does give out mean in this context?
Said enough broh
Praise God❤🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
The moment that you become bigger than your dad is also the moment you become emotionnally mature enough to respect him for everything he's done FOR you.
im like 6 inches taller than my dad and i don’t give a shit bout’ ‘im
@@claricenzuzi5204cool lol 😂😂😂😂😂

I did it...I am finally the 69th like
My dad was the best. Gave everything for his kids. We lost him to covid. When he died, was the first time my wife ever saw me cry. Still get tears in my eyes when I think about him.
I'm sorry for your loss. And I know that it can be especially tough around the holidays, when we get together with our loved ones and some of them have passed. Hug your living loved ones that much tighter. Tell them that you love them. And make time to spend with them. We get busy with daily life and time just flies by.
And share your memories of your lost loved ones, especially with younger family members. Even if you've told a story 50 times, that's how younger people learn about and learn from their family members. I learned a lot from my paternal grandfather telling the same stories over and over again, and I still remember a lot of details over 30 years later. And I can share those stories with my kids, and they can have a sense of who he was despite being born long after he passed. And sharing the stories helps us remember our loved ones and can give us a moment of joy instead of just missing them.
😢🙏🏿
Sorry to hear man. Hopefully you get the chance to spread the wealth of love he gave you
If it wasn’t for Covid, he would’ve been alive 😂
@@LilXancheXYeshua Hamashiach is God in the flesh, the Son of God, the Word of God, and he died so that you may be presented blameless in the sight of the Father. And so you may inherit his kingdom. The LORD Yeshua Hamashiach is the only way to the Father and his kingdom. Repent of your sins, turn to Yeshua and accept him into your life as your LORD and Savior before it's too late, every day is not guaranteed.

The three stages we view our fathers:
We Idolize
We Demonize
And finally, we Humanize
Beautiful video, man.
Exactly 💯
I never demonized him. Went straight from 1 to 3.
You never know the value of a moment until it's a memory🔥🔥
Damn this made me cry as a fatherless son. Love your storytelling ability and vulnerability.
I did too ...
I hear you man; my dad passed away when I was 6 years old, never got the chance to create many memories and learn from him; however, I promised myself that the day I had my own kids, I would be the dad that I always wanted. Today, I am living that promise, and I love it.
Sorry to hear that bro
I’m fatherless but I ain’t no bitch
same…
As a growing teenage son with the best dad in the whole world, I just want to thank you. I saw this on my recommended list and I was going to ignore it, but I decided to watch it. I was in the same situation not to long ago and what hit me the most is the part when there was a flashback to his childhood. This made me break out into tears, it hurts knowing that you have once hated the hero that is your father. Respect you father and make the most out of the time you have with him, no matter how many chores he makes you do. Same goes for your mother. 😢❤
For me, my grandfather had a fatal heart attack in front of me when I was four. Right after my father had dropped us off to head to work.
The door had just shut behind him when my sister, grandmother, and I started screaming for him. He tore through the door and was there in an instant. My sister and I were taken across the street to a friend of my grandmothers, and my grandfather died in my father's arms.
Ever since then, I have feared that it would be my fate to suffer the experience that my father did.
@@nitrocatofficial6939I’m sorry to hear that, but no one can escape death. Fate is unchangeable, so make the most out of the time you have with you father and any of your loved ones. Create many more great memories with your loved ones, so that when they go, you will always have them in your heart and mind. Again I’m sorry you had to go through that. Don’t think about the future with your father, be in the present. ❤
@@BrandonArevalo-ou3ck thank you so much. I'm really thinking about moving back to Virginia to be closer with him.
@@nitrocatofficial6939 np man 😊

DAD STILL GONNA WHIP IS AS💀☠️
Ya, like my dad had told me ni matter how big I am or strong he gonna still knock my but out. Lol
FACTS!!!!😂😂
Right parents are in control of your life no matter what even when your father is 80 and cannot work due to their age it’s true but to be your parent there definitely gonna have a lot of energy to put you to the ground. Not one single person can win against their parent.
Like all the time in the videos him and his brother gon get their ass beat💀
Tim go have to kneel down now
I remember the day I got stronger than my dad. When he wanted to wrestle, I held back. I knew beating him would not be a victory for me. I was proud of my strength and coming into manhood but loved him and grateful to have him.
This vid did bring me to tears. I did not have the best relationship with him. Like many it takes years before we start to take responsibility for our situations and forgive our parents for what we feel should have been. Glad he left this world knowing I loved him. I miss my old man.
This video was fire. You transformed into a man not when you realized that you could physically beat your father but when you allowed him to win. That was the growth. This is gold right here. Thank you. I wish all of us as men could learn to be humble, respectful and honorable. Your father did well.
Tim is teaching life lessons and morals yall thanks for everything tim much love
@@karlwithak. I was actually way bigger than my father at the age of 14. But I feel like you talking about marriage and all that. Which is clearly not what Tim was talking about. He was talking about body. Unless you are talking about a hidden meaning that nobody but you knows?
You see, that moment he let his dad shoot the ball and score was a sign of maturity.
This was dope, I'm going through something similar with my own sons. There growing bigger and I'm getting older. I hope they to can look back on these moments and remember what they learned from me, the good and the bad memories and pass that knowledge on to there own sons.
Man as a single father this got me in tears and just makes me miss my father and I tell my boy who’s 17 I love you everyday he used to get embarrassed but I told him I wish I could hear my father say I love you just one more time and you got this son!!! Beautiful video!! Definitely sharing with all the fathers I know so they can share with their children!!!
As a kid growing up, you will repeatedly challenge your father's authority, get mad, and dream about the day you are bigger, stronger, and faster than he is. But when that day comes, and all that time has passed, you look down at your old man and realize why he did everything he did. And the cycle repeats.
Touching as hell bro. Love it.
Just Beautiful from One "Tim" to another!
That's my stepfather who taught me everything I know, and I have a lot of respect for the man.❤
This was so dope. It showed the struggles of the parent and the child from 2 different perspectives, respectively. In the end, the son remembered the bond that he and his dad had over the years. And his dad let go of his pride.
Fathers are definitely needed. They bring something different that a mother can't provide. I always think of mother's providing you a shield to protect you from the outside world and father's give you the sword needed to take on the world.
As a father of my own sons, This really hit home. Made me cry at the end.
This is a great video…we buried our dad several years ago but his wisdom is still with us. Thank God for all the great dads.
Fatherly bond, and love is something that should be cherished and is an awesome thing. Father and son bond is unbreakable,as your dad can help you out,if you're having a hard time, and no matter what you think he understands you, more then anyone else.
as someone who grew up with an abusive detached father yall are blessed. :)
@@quinnard9750 Damn,hope you're doing good bro
This is powerful, I felt this message on so many levels. Thank you!
Crazy, I had this exact same moment with my father. The game started out strong, I couldn't miss. I knew today was the day, I was gonna beat my old man. As the game went on I got a sinking feeling and purposely bricked every shot. Dad won the game and seemed a bit awkward. I think he knew I let him win. I was so bummed about it afterwards. I didn't really want to beat my dad I guess.
After that day, we would shoot baskets together but we never played each other. We did get closer but yeah, I think good sons will often feel some regret when they pass up their old man
I didn't and don't mind passing up my dad because it's not like it's the son's fault and a good father should want his children to be better than he ever was at everything. I certainly hope that my sons become their best selves and that their best is better than me.
Unfortunately, my father isn't that way. He's insecure (even in his 80's), and he's always struggled with supporting his children and trying to elevate himself (or his mythological self) above his children (and other people). It's sad to see someone live their whole life without being comfortable being themselves. But that doesn't excuse the wrong he's done, either.
Nah that's a true Star Wars "the apprentice has become the master" moment. Like @loki2240 said we dads want our sons to do better than we did. Dad relentlessly beats your a$$ on the court when you're younger so you don't get the idea that the world owes you anything or that you should always do well without trying. You getting to where you can beat him means he did his job AND you actually took the lessons to heart. We're not supposed to be in our 40s or 50s with you in your 20s and we're still whooping that a$$ on the court.
But that's what we want. For our sons too be just as good if not better than us.
@@loki2240 Damn bro, that hurts to hear seeing as I resent my father for his lack of involvement. He knows this and yet he still says all he wants is that I become a better man than him.
for one whose hero has always been my dad, thank you...blessed that he's still here and celebrated his 69th bday a week ago...mine in 4 days...glad we still here.
this video hit me the most since me and my pops didnt have the best relationship growing up, but as i grew up we both started to get closer because we realized that time on this earth is limited and we shouldn't take things for granted and relationships for granted. this video was absolutely needed, keep grinding tim 👊👊

Saaaameee brooo
@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist5don’t start this crap.
My dad passed in 2016. This video made me think of everything he did for me, how much he loved me, and how much he inspired me. I miss him so much
Beautiful. As a Dad whose son chased his dream and won, and is always appreciative of me this brought tears to my eyes. I pushed him and was hard on him, and he did try me. We have mutual love and respect now. He still seeks my advice and opinion. Can't ask for more that that. Men, honor your responsibilities and take care of your kids. Especially your sons. They need your guidance.
Thank you for this video Tim, my dad died 6 years ago and the last time i saw him was on my 8th birthday. What breaks my heart is that when my dad didn't finish the race (the birthday happened at a bike race), I said "What if my dad dies?". My only wish is, when I have a family, to always be around my kids, so that when I die they will remember me as an amazing dad. May God bless all of you! 🙏
i'm so sorry for your loss
Bro thank you so much for this video!!! Our society keeps telling us the fathers role is no longer necessary but its father's who reproduce great men! Much love to your pops, who was a great man!!

this reminded me so much of my dad, and as a tall kid and a basketball favorite sporter, this heart warmed me so much, because my dad is talking care of my grandmother who just had a stroke and is in a wheelchair, so I can barely see him.

Had a similar moment where I could've beaten my dad in a race. I had another gear to pass him but decided to stay even until the end. We never raced after that again. I recently had a blow up argument with my father. Wouldn't have been a good look beating up a 74 yr old with me at 47. I decided going forward never to even get into arguments with him since it could affect his health. You do have to be the "bigger person" in the end
Brought me to tears, as you get older, time eventually catches up to us all, Gotta cherish the time with your Parents and remember you'll always be a kid in their eyes
Loved this video. My father is the most amazing man on this planet and i am incapable of putting my sheer admiration and respect towards him into words. Not only was is he an amazing husband to my mother, but I watched him sacrifice over and over again to make sure me and my brothers were always provided for. At times that sacrifice would be time spent with his family for time spent providing for his family. And now, with 3 beautiful children of my own, i understand what he felt.. the silent anxieties.. the secret regrets of "damn.. i didnt get to play with my kids today". God bles that man.
I feel the same way about my father. It took me so long to realize the good he instilled in me. The lessons he taught me. And I’m glad he is still here I will spend the rest of his and my life forever repaying a debt I never truly can. I just want him to be proud of me
“I didnt make my kids they made me.”Big up 2 all the fathers and sons out there. Stay strong brothers. ❤
