Yeah I think your right. I think he really wants to just live completely minimally and I think she honestly just wants a normal life. If they could meet in the middle so say in the winter they stay in a normal house and in the summer they live like this. But I don’t think he wants that in any way
@@rosiegiesler4705 Liek why can’t they have a normal house and homestead but also go wild camping regularly. I’d love that compromise as I grew up in the city but still spent every single weekend working on farms for 16 years I’ve come to realise that the stereotype is that women are demanding. They just nag and get passive aggressive because the expectation is always that she will conform to what will make the man happy. The second a man has to consider someone else’s feelings or opinions they genuinely feel personally victimised and oppressed, it is totally intolerable for them to do anything they don’t actively want to do for themselves, but they don’t notice all the shit their female partners just swallow or keep to themselves This situation is a bit extreme but it perfectly illustrates a dynamic in a lot of couples
@@SobrietyandSolace they can if this is what they both want. I get the feeling he wouldn’t want that sort of life which is why I suggested that they split their time between the two different lifestyles. But it’s all about what works for them and that is their decision to make as a couple
@The Yorkshireman Reacts No, because social media and worrying about getting messed up with your mates aint real life. That’s a luxury only westerners get, go outside of Europe and you’ll see the harsh reality of the real world. Point being, really living comes through life itself and experiences, not through a faux reality you create on the internet
Wow some of these comments 🤣 judging people so harshly from a little clip of their life. If either of you is reading this, if you ever need any help I have forestry and horticultural skills, lots of tools and a tipper van and would love to come and visit! Wish you all the best in your endeavours for a more natural existence x
I wonder if he’s aware there’s 20 odd farms scattered across London. I think he would like a part of London like Merton, Collier’s Wood, New Addington, Wimbledon Common, Oxleas wood etc
If they live off-grid what do they do for financial, sourcing uncontaminated water, thorough sanitation, medical supplies and food? What if she decides she wants ice cream or a tiramisu?
@@josephdelasalle4511 Well my first thoughts were if one of them had a serious accident or fell poorly with a serious illness. Would bushcraft skills be effective if one of them fell sick with cancer?
Rubbish. I live in a fishing bivvy in the Scottish Highlands in a forest with my daughter and dog, have done since July 2021. No help, nothing. Society, what society. The past couple of days have been testing with 55mph gusts and endless heavy rain, we were flooded out about a month ago, loads of things ruined. Soon it'll be freezing cold. They can produce food, they have a compost loo, they are luxuries, we've got none of that.
How old is your daughter? Is it safe for her or be in those conditions? Especially in such a cold climate. Of course that's your choice and if that's what you like then that's absolutely fine, but perhaps being warm and having sanitary conditions should be the least of your requirements with a child. Stay safe
Interesting to read. Just a thought. Your experience could build character and grow your empathy for others living similar lifestyles and those starting out. But you sound bitter, dismissing the experiences of others because you have it harder. Your conditions are rough, but letting it affect your character is a choice which will affect your daughter. I hope you can keep your soul clean, take responsibility and celebrate the successes of others. May 2023 be a better year for you. Greetings from the Transylvanian wilderness. God bless.
Honestly, how this world is going. Off grid living sounds less and less stressful and crazy each year that passes
They met in a festival, were they met tilling the land would be a different story
@@Dorr234 I understand most of it
@@Dorr234 🤣 what a strange comment
I don't see them working out. She seems to be conforming to his life whereas he doesn't seem to want to embrace hers very much.

I think they’ve both made sacrifices. We are only seeing a tiny clip of their world together ❤
@@SobrietyandSolace women are demanding and naggy, this video proves it.
Many more happy years together. Such a beautiful story.
I would love to do this! This is actually life not what we do now in this modern society...

It's not exactly wild living when your 20 minutes away from the shops!

A life without tiramisu or ice cream isn’t worth living
If they’re living off the grid then why would they need money you plonker, hunt for food, boil water

Where can we go to see more of these two living the dream? Lovely couple.

And that's nobodies fault 😂 people living in need like that in the UK it's just a joke 😂

I did that once. Get paid 50p for every time I knocked on a door and made a twat of myself. I’m retired now
