Interestingly, the snippet of the "stage clear" theme heard at 0:44 was originally intended to be at the very beginning of the Act 2 music. Honestly I've no idea why they switched it around.

They likely did it for fun. It probably felt out of place at the start of Act 2, so they threw it into Act 1 to toy with how it'd sound at higher speeds
