Looking back at this I think Bryson was going thru some type of depression also. They should have gotten him therapy outside of RHOA. I understand how NeNe and Greg felt tho.
Yeah he most definitely did. It sucks because Nene was probably needing therapy and help herself from her own traumas and relationship so she did the best she could do.

Thissss ! My mom put me out at 16 because I was depressed asf and got into an “i don’t care” stage but I was in a dark place and holding bad secrets that was killing me literally. But it manifested to others As lazy, careless or mean. I was hurting and hurting myself physically. No one ever notices how hurt you are until you kill yourself and then they say they cared

This boy was grown and wasn’t doing nothing. I understand what it’s like raising children and having adult children that does nothing. No matter how many conversations you have with that child you’re waiting for the light bulb to go off and you hope it does soon. It becomes overwhelming dealing with that while trying to navigate your own life and live with your own aspirations. It sets you back to have adult children that do nothing and seem to want nothing. I’m sure they did everything they could for him. Sometimes disconnecting is the best advice. Bought learning is the best learning.

Agreed. Not for nothing but I kind of felt like she treated him all different than the son by Greg. Tough love yes but as Brent grew up he made lazy remarks about not helping or wanting to really do anything work wise. And her go to was “he gone do something”. Idk I just feel like this son was more of the black sheep child. Then u throw him in front of a million cameras on tv and expect perfection.

i’ve been there before. idk why but i watch a lot of housewives videos and this one i would just skip over… well i just watched it today and it was like a spitting image of the convos my mom used to have with me. kinda made me tear up. i think bryson was just trying to find himself… black teenage boys would rather hold it all in and figure life out on their own.. not knowing that it’s okay to ask for help and guidance

This was not a conversation meant for television. Nene was wrong for berating him like that. First, Bryson wasn't doing anything millions of people his age haven't done. And that's trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life. Name 1 person 18-22 that doesn't occasionally stay out late with friends? Nene basically called him a dirty bum on national tv then wonders why he now struggles with drug addiction and depression. "He's not in school, he's back home, he doesn't have a job, he needs a haircut... what woman wants a man without no money" he was how old in this clip? like 18 or 19. When I first graduated hs I struggled with the decision whether I wanted to go to college or not. Once I did, I changed my major several times and felt anxiety/depression many times trying to adjust to the real world and balancing working full time and going to school full time. I'm thankful that my parents always kept their doors open to me. I always knew I could go home when things got tough. Nene is a trash mom.

He was at least 19 when the show started and thats when his mom became famous. She was a stay at home mom up until the show came along. She's also apologized for sharing these discussions on camera. She said regrets hurting him by filming this. She has since said and done some things I don't like but she is a great mom. That's one of her best qualities.
