In 1996, an original rock musical by a little-known composer opened on Broadway...and forever changed the landscape of American theatre. Two decades later, Jonathan Larson’s RENT continues to speak loudly and defiantly to audiences across generations and all over the world. And now, this Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award®-winning masterpiece returns to the stage in a vibrant 20th anniversary touring production. A re-imagining of Puccini's La Bohème, RENT follows an unforgettable year in the lives of seven artists struggling to follow their dreams without selling out. With its inspiring message of joy and hope in the face of fear, this timeless celebration of friendship and creativity reminds us to measure our lives with the only thing that truly matters-love.
The power of these casts have lived up to everything that is Rent! Can see the intensity and hear the passion.
I really love this production. They're committed to telling the story and committed to the sound of rent! I've even auditioned five times for this tour. Played Mark twice so theres no stopping me
The title song is EPIC
I saw this last night in Louisville! It was amazing! I had so much fun.
Can’t wait to see this in Vancouver in September ❤️❤️❤️
Didn't this come to Jacksonville Florida?
I like this grey hoodie Rogers wearing better than the original green shirt
Let this be clear: Michael Greif created magic once with the obc and then they did it once more with the 2008 cast and taping of it. You cannot make magic 3 times, this is proof.
Kay_ Carlsin the show is actually really good in person. Tye most likely did this very early on in the production. Besides they wouldnt pick those actors if they didn't think they had the potential
michael greif didn’t direct this production though
Those eye
I'm sorry but this Mark is trying way too hard to sound like Adam Kantor and Anthony
Danny and Kaleb sound a bit weird in this, but they're much better live, trust me!
I thought it was great
I really honestly hate the mark in this cast he sounds like he's trying to hard and that's not what RENT is about
I saw it last month and I can tell you it is so much better than what it sounds like in these videos
philipisnotfunny yeah I saw it last night and he sounds a lot more natural than this video
Trust me!! Everyone is so much better live!!
philipisnotfunny I saw them yesterday he was amazing, trust me
Danny Kornfeld is an amazing actor with a moving, incredible voice. He just needs the right role to fall into. He’s still new on the scene, just making his Broadway debut this month.
