Great video. I know xtool are innovate company and the machine look nice, I think they will have changes and issues with maintenance. We know very well dtf. 1. I see their machine is closed frame all in front so there is no way to get to printhead or capping station, that makes it a bad design. 2. Even machine do maintenance that will be in lines by circulating the ink but not in the dampers. 3. White ink is the one that separate because precipitation, so their automatic maintenance will need to be very good to eliminate issues with white ink. Visually there is no look for the printer from the back, no way to tell if is bulk system or cartridge system that could make it potentially a very close system and the supplies will be more expensive. Machine will be $4,000 for know only for printer, then add 2k or more easy for the shaker oven, so we could be looking at 6k or 7k for just the machines, then to be added the supplies. I know for sure they will improve any mistakes they do in this first version and make coming versions better.
Thank you! Yes I will be interested to see the access areas for maintenance I believe the entire top hinges up for easy access but I haven’t seen it in action yet. the ink is a bulk system not cartridge. I interviewed their CEO Jason Wang in Las Vegas at CES last week. They have 800 employees in their R&D division alone so I’m sure we’re gonna see some rapid changes if there’s any problems during the testing phase right now. Glad to have a competitors perspective thank you.
I was directed to this video by Mike Smerka. This was so informative, thank you. I love how you stayed neutral and stated facts as. you know them. Great job and I did like and subscribe as I can definitely learn more from you easily.
Wow this is a great video very informative I will highly recommend this video to the people out there interested in this DTF printer being that I am the only current beta tester with it in my possession I have been testing this machine for a few days and so far it has been amazing and blowing my expectations away
So it’s the part that can fail by user error and the other companies seem to be similar up to 6mo. As I said in the video 😓 not a fan either but it’s not out of place in that industry either
Some inaccurate information 34:44 The Procolored is 8ft "Squared" per hour which equals 64 square feet. The Xtool is 50 sqft. The Procolored printer is a faster printer. The Procolored is about a 7 min print and the xTool an 8 minute print.
So I just went and checked, I just went to their site the $2900 f13 says 4 sq ft per hr under the f&q “how fast does it print” - if your looking at the $5k f13 pro dual it is 16 square foot per hour now it doesn’t say the speed on procolord’s page they use a different metric saying a4 takes 4.5 min so I checked several places to ensure the 16 square foot per hour was correct looking at other vendors sites etc,you can look at heat press nation under specs, also confirming the 16 square ft per hour. The new xTool is 50 square ft per hour here’s the link www.heatpressnation.com/products/procolored-a3-pro-13-dtf-printer-double-oven-shaker-kit
The only problem I have with xtool dtf machine is that the price of the machine is $4000, but that does not include the oven, so I have no idea why all the UA-camr say affordable?? You have to have the oven to cure. And it says that on the faq page!
So in the world of DTF printers to have a DTF printer that has the built-in shake and bake curing, you’re looking at $15-$30,000. Pro level machine so if this one comes in at around six maybe? with that functionality, that’s where everybody’s saying that it’s affordable. It’s obviously a pro machine and not for the hobbiest (what a lot of the little 3k printers are marketed at
@@Nani_Of3 the printer is not considered an entry-level printer it is more of an advanced printer not really intended for somebody who is going to do a couple shirts a week but you don't necessarily need the shaker oven combo to produce DTF prints you can powder manually by hand and use a hovering heat press or an oven or griddle or even an electric Pizza Oven to cure the powder

Thanks so much! With any review (or just discussion) I definitely try to stay to the facts and let that info help you make your own decisions!

Great video! Thank you for all the info.
thanks so much!
24:35 That Is crazy! One month warranty on the printhead lol. That Is the first thing that brakes In machines like this and also what costs the most!

@@mrgregsully it's actually 5.6 sq ft per hour on the pro color
@@mrgregsully and if you read the 7 Minute time the pro color uses is to print a 8 inch by 11 inch photo just print it not powder it and all that
Sounds like they are making these similar to how sawgrass does their sub printers. They do self maintenance.
Oh cool will have to look into those
