Few things I would do differently. 1. Put the EOL resistor on the second detector when doing ATZ, not the first. Otherwise your second detector has no EOL protection. This is also backed by the official product documentation. 2. I would heatshrink the resistors to avoid the chances of short circuits. 3. I would also not leave loose uninsulated joins in a detector. Again, you have the chance of short circuits. 4. Not sure about your country but we don't use solid core cable for alarm systems, but again, could be a country specific thing.
15:50 If COM is not connected to any PIR, there is no connection between Z1 - COM and between Z2 - COM, there should be pernament alarm (NC - normally closed system is always opened). How does it work?
The negative its com for everyone , you can use to closed all circuits, and the resistors him used to separate the zones in one circuit, well done man I from brazil and here the violence its so big, the systems here need to be perfect, congratulations
This is a greate video - i tested and it'i working ok but i have one question - using this type of connection how do i connect the sabotage senzor (microcontact from the central box)?
I'm having problems with ATZ (sensors NV-5, panel MG5050), I wired according to manual for 2-sensor ATZ serial with EOL, connected to Z1 and C (and power of course). The sensor 1 is working fine on Zone 1, but sensor 2 is not detected. Sensor 2 power works, red light shows when triggered, but not showing on keypad or in Winload. In manual it says Z6 is Z1 ATZ. Do I need to enable/configure Zone 6? I didn't put anything on Z3 just in case (MG5000 use Z3 as Z1 ATZ). Do I need any other settings for this to work? I enabled system-wide EOL (section 706) and ATZ (section 705), nothing else. Anyone has any tips? Sensor 2 NC connected to panel C, and with 2.2KOhm to S2 COM, also 1KOhm from COM to Tamper1, and Tamper2 is connected to Sensor 1 NC, like specified in manual. Sensor 1 working fine. Thanks!
Sorted it out, wire according to manual ATZ+EOL serial, connect to Z1 and C, enable EOL and ATZ in panel and configure zone 1 and zone 6 (zone 1 atz). Working great.
@@mrbrdo Problem is that the manual isn't very clear on hardwired zone assignments when ATZ is activated. Your posting above helped me a lot. So with ATZ activated, Z1-Z5 connections are still mapped to Zones 1 to 5, and the secondary devices connected to Z1-Z5 become Zones 6 to 10.
Hello sir, I have spectra system model 1686V, the problem is it not recognize the deducts devices , so when I enter the master code and the ready alarm light is red the alarm dose not work , can you help me to solve this problem, with best regards
assembly in 1998 had 1002 ohm sensor. and in 2017 a 1005-1017 ohm and it is no problem. sometimes breaks down the sensor itself, or allow the terminals. this means that the resistance and cable do not have problem after 20 years
I was working with an installer and he never puts resistors and was running the cables from outside he is a fail man i know(but he takes many many jobs). He said that he dont put resistors because of false alarms. (official paradox installer).
I do not know if I understand correctly, but with resistance or no resistance has no impact on a false alarm (this statement but I have not confirmed long-term research) but most of the 99 percent installations doing with resistors
I believe this too. I just wanted a second opinion from an experienced installer. I think it is a crime to run cables outside without resistor protected.
I like your funny , relaxed style but still didactical. Keep on going. Спасибо братуха. Коля

Do you get any false alarms after couple of years because of these resistors? Does the resistance of the cables change in time?

It is a philosophical question. thief should be put as many obstacles. but experienced thief overcomes everything. you're Greek.
Hello! How can i contact to you? I need some help 🤦♂️
I have a brand new tm70 but can not access to the functions. The factory password, 0000, 1234 don't work. Do you know how to reset the password?
Would the wiring be exactly the same for evo192?
yes
golf Wagen thanks , would be great if you showed magnetic door contact atz eol
ok If I do not forget, I'm doing a lot now
Hi could you show us for magnetic door / windows sensor this would be nice..

Hello! How can i contact to you in private?
Es muy bueno este vide quiciera aprender ahora como quitarle sensibilidad a un sensor de estos que se ven en este video
Well, if ATZ and EOL
example for the 1728 panel, PIR 1 = zone 1, PIR2 = zone 6 virtual, PIR 3 = zone 2, PIR 4 = zone7 virtual ...
hi m8, can you help me find out how to program zones on 1728 with keypad? thanks
PIR 1=Z? PIR2=Z? PIR3=Z? PIR4=Z?
for DGP pir 1 = z1, pir 2 = z1, pir3 = z2, pir 4 = z2
@@golfwagen4173 Ok so you don't have 4 zones .. ? juste 2 Zones with 4 PIR
@@stephanebontemps80 He just shows that you have 4 zones which can be doubled. He just doubled the first 2 zones for showcase.
I am living in a flat household so if If I put $20 towards it all everyone put s $100 towards it all
