- First off I want to say thank you to the UA-cam channel "The Hidden Object" who brought this method of armor farming to my attention. However I noticed there were some issues I kept running into while attempting the original method mentioned. In this video I alter things a bit that made this method of farming much more effective. So sit back and enjoy.
I've tried this method and it works good even on hard . But it's always best to say on easy because if you some how died you still keep %100 of your items. Believe me somehow ended up under the map or across the map .
Your right. Its best to do this on easy as the armor drops are the same regardless. Man with some of the stuff I've seen an EDF game do I completely believe you on ending up under the map. Once I got launched into the air and traveled for probably half a mile or more in game distance. I ended up landing on a completely off limits part of the map where enemies didn't come to. The part I landed on I quickly recognized as the beach from crimson. So the level I was playing was not crimson at all, but had been sectioned off from a bigger map that included the crimson beach. So when the game glitched I somehow slipped through the invisible wall and traveled to crimson. It was quite funny.

Your very welcome. By the way i recently made a change to this away from controller method. DONT USE THE TANK! lol. Instead use a mech. Preferably the nix red guard level 80 since it moves fast. The reason for this change is because the tank can flip when parked under the dropship. The mech will not flip or budge. It will stay under the dropship the entire time safely collecting boxes for hours with no problem.
All credit for this method goes to the "The Hidden Object" channel for bring this method of armor farming to my attention. However I noticed some issues with the method and changed things up a bit by bringing in turrets and parking my tank differently. Check it out. Its quite effective.
This also works on the "berth" mission 35.Kill all but the one ship just before the ones on the beach.Then go grab the fencers over the mountain to the left of where you start and bring them back to do their thing.Same deal.Though this mission is better /easier to navigate since it's flat ground......EDF!!!

It certainly does. Just be careful not to leave for too long because the ants will build up under the EMC and flip it. The mechs are the only ones that dont flip.

It sure does. Only dont use a tank like I did. Use a mech. The mech wont glitch and flip over.
@@EDFCentral Been playing again recently and caught this video, there's actually an even more efficient way to make the tanks work; If you use 2p offline mode with any combination of ranger and air raider, you can park two massive tanks next to the drop ship in a slight corner formation, leaving a slight gap between the two where the collection circles just overlap. You can maximize collection size while minimizing the risk of tipping over, as the insects will tend to funnel away from the tanks after dying and the few that don't will generally vanish before becoming a problem.
Sweet video though. I've already broken 2000 HP in just one week on two characters doing this just once or twice a day. So thanks for the help!

Hey AllStar, actually I have put out a few new EDF 5 videos this week. No problem at all. Honestly I think something is going on with YT right now. Strange things have been happening regarding the numbers on my videos. So its possible that YT did something that turned your notifications off.
bill johnson Explains a lot. The views on my videos are barely out of the 20s and 30s which is not normal. Most should have probably a 100 views by now. My subscribers aren't getting notified. Good grief YT!
There is definitely some shadiness going on. I also notice that I'll get new subscribers, buy my subscriber count won't go up. You can' tell me I'm losing and gaining subscribers at the exact same time to keep it from changing. Something is up.

Man I wish I could but it's kind of a process to get there. Try accessing the video through my EDF5 playlist and see if that works.
You pretty much just want to keep 1 drop ship alive and kill everything else and grab 2 fencer squads that will kill the bugs for you when they drop from the ship. Park a tank with a good amount of pick up radius next to where the bugs drop (not on top of them)
It's good to keep a ship alive that drops ants it's just easier because spiders like to jump a lot. Also pick up most of the loot boxes if possible so you don't reach the limit of loot boxes on the ground this will mess up the farm. Weapons really don't matter since its on easy just take a weapon that can clear waves quickly and one that can reach the drop ships
