Hello, may I ask what the white spots on the strings are for? Is it to mark harmonics, or particular notes? Also can I ask what it is please? I’m still looking for an efficient way to mark my strings, I’ve tried nail polish, markers and such but they either don’t stay or they noticeably change the sound of the string…
Hi! Those white marks are “Liquid Paper.” You can buy them at any school supply store. And it doesn't mean anything about the music or to mark any notes on the strings of my lyre. I just put those marks for a personal reason. Hehe, I have poor eyesight, and it's hard for me to see the strings, especially when it starts to move, you know, the waves that happen whenever you pluck or strum the strings. It helps me to see the strings somehow, properly. 😊
