The other problem that this teaching has is that the Jewish people cannot have the holy Spirit, period , if they did not believe in Jesus Christ. So if 5 of The virgins were the Jewish people , as Perry teaches,,,how could that be? because they did have oil in their lamps, but ran out of oil, which is representative of the holy Spirit. But, perry teaches they can't obtain the holy spirit, because they don't believe in Jesus being the Messiah

Yes, if you have a lamp with No Oil, the wick Will Burn for a short while and then go out. Think about it. Did the 5 foolish virgins ever have the Holy Spirit? I don't think so.

The one thing I'm confused about is the second coming is after the tribulation if the church is raptured pre-trib than how does this parable apply to the church if the 10 virgins are waiting for the second coming?
That's proof there is no pre trib. Trib is Satan's wrath. God's wrath is after rapture, which is after the abomination as Jesus taught in Mat, 24. It's really pretty clear and simple

I just watched the video that you made 10 years after this one. I guess you learned differently on the way to today. Because now you're saying that it is people that are prepared and looking for the rapture versus people that are not prepared and not looking for the Rapture they got lazy and just didn't bother anymore saying that the Lord is delaying.

I still don't understand it I've seen 4 videos on this. I was listening to an apostle preach and he said the ones that have no oil aren't going to get raptured... And Charles Stanley was saying that u can be saved and still not have a relationship with God and those are the ones that are going to have the door shut on them. Perry is wrong on this one. The oil in the lamps is a representation of the holy spirit. Perry does not believe that one can lose the holy Spirit but you can just go back and study saul in the old testament where God took his spirit away from saul.
No one was BORN of the Ho!y Spirit in the Old Testament. The Holy Spirit might have DWELT WITH them, but they were not BORN of the Holy Spirit. Only after Jesus died, rose again and then gave the Holy Spirit to them was when one was born again.

This happens as you surrender and yield all to God, as a child, completely dependent on Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Christ...Glory to Glory! So...pray ask Him, rely on Him for revelation, desire His Word to search the scriptures and confirm all that you hear. Your spirit will know when Truth is received! It Is Freeing!! Yes. Paul even said we (Spiritually) are currently seated with Christ Jesus in heaven! I also heavily lean toward this parable being for those in the tribulation, and then we see in Revelation 19, the wife (born again church) marries Jesus and then there is the marriage supper of the Lamb after said marriage, and they tell John that blessed are those who are invited to said supper. This is happening in heaven before Jesus' second coming! And so those who are invited to the supper are likely the virgins in the tribulation who can escape if they KEEP FAITH (oil in lamps) and so if their faith stays strong, they will be ready for when the next rapture happens during the tribulation.

Actually it says 5 have NO oil, don't know how you can miss this very important point.
The Bible does not say when the lamps went out. Any lamp with some oil on a wick will burn for a short time.

The one thing I'm confused about is the second coming is after the tribulation if the church is raptured pre-trib than how does this parable apply to the church if the 10 virgins are waiting for the second coming?
That's proof there is no pre trib. Trib is Satan's wrath. God's wrath is after rapture, which is after the abomination as Jesus taught in Mat, 24. It's really pretty clear and simple

I just watched the video that you made 10 years after this one. I guess you learned differently on the way to today. Because now you're saying that it is people that are prepared and looking for the rapture versus people that are not prepared and not looking for the Rapture they got lazy and just didn't bother anymore saying that the Lord is delaying.
If this is a picture of the Jews and the gentiles that would mean there would have to be two weddings. one for the Jewish people and one for the gentiles. The Bible says nothing about two weddings only one wedding and one church.
But the believing Jews and Gentiles are united under the headship of Christ so why would there be two weddings? Is Christ divided?

I still don't understand it I've seen 4 videos on this. I was listening to an apostle preach and he said the ones that have no oil aren't going to get raptured... And Charles Stanley was saying that u can be saved and still not have a relationship with God and those are the ones that are going to have the door shut on them. So do you mean to tell me, with this parable, that there will be people that will get saved but will still have no hope in the end? Its pretty discouraging news 😑😩.....

Perry is wrong on this one. The oil in the lamps is a representation of the holy spirit. Perry does not believe that one can lose the holy Spirit but you can just go back and study saul in the old testament where God took his spirit away from saul.
No one was BORN of the Ho!y Spirit in the Old Testament. The Holy Spirit might have DWELT WITH them, but they were not BORN of the Holy Spirit. Only after Jesus died, rose again and then gave the Holy Spirit to them was when one was born again.

Yes. Paul even said we (Spiritually) are currently seated with Christ Jesus in heaven! I also heavily lean toward this parable being for those in the tribulation, and then we see in Revelation 19, the wife (born again church) marries Jesus and then there is the marriage supper of the Lamb after said marriage, and they tell John that blessed are those who are invited to said supper. This is happening in heaven before Jesus' second coming! And so those who are invited to the supper are likely the virgins in the tribulation who can escape if they KEEP FAITH (oil in lamps) and so if their faith stays strong, they will be ready for when the next rapture happens during the tribulation.

The Five Wise Virgins
The oil lamb is man (any person) and the 5 virgins are man’s five senses that prefer earthly joys and pleasures instead of the heavenly ones. The deeds that a person does that are divine liked is the very oil that keeps the flame going that in turn sustains the Light which is the Divine Grace needed to possess to enter His kingdom when the time comes!
