- Here we go, Hammond ROCK AND ROLL time! Was feeling the rock and feeling the roll so I decided to make this track. This one features my friend and NO KING bandmember Jelle Wunderink who plays a sweet guitar. Leave a comment if you like (I read them all) and enjoy!
As always played on:
Hammond A100 (B3) 1961
Leslie 251 speaker 1964
Gibson Les Paul 60's Standard 2019
Fernandes Stratocaster 1970's
Fender Vibrolux Reverb 1967
Kingtone Duellist
Filmed in 4K with DJI Osmo Pocket.
What a sound! You are the real deal. It’s nice to see younger people taking the torch, and keeping the Hammond Organ sound alive & well!
Thanks! Hammond came and conquered a place in my heart :D
:-D Just greatttt!!
Great Video! Do you use a SM57 mic to record the Leslie Speaker?
Man, you deserve so much more views. Stunning!
Thank you!
That was awesome playing from both of you, thanks - it really rocks! It would be great to see how you would play a slow blues, maybe a minor one too - something like 'the thrill is gone' - how you'd build drama at a slower pace, and what melodic ideas you might try. I hope you don't mind the suggestion - your videos always give me a lot of inspiration for my own playing 🙂 Anyway keep up the great music guys! 🤟
Thanks! My previous video is a bit like a slow blues: ua-cam.com/video/C9G6psdf2L0/v-deo.html
Thrill is gone starts at 19:50 ;)

This gets me grooving. Your music is always super fun and engaging. Keep it up, amazing!
Your Hammond playing sounds quite a bit like I'd imagine Jon Lord to do the spot
damn... man of multi talents... I`ve found you today... well I`m considering myself lucky. good job. what a voice!
Thanks man!
Oh dude that song was amazing!
I couldn’t help but tap along!
Can you tell me what Strat your buddy plays?
It doesn’t look like it says fender on the headstock.
It’s a 1982 fernandes the revival strat :) grtz Jelle Wunderink, the guitarist
Dude, this is your best one yet! The sound of an overdriven Hammond through a Leslie gives me goosebumps!
I love those massive, wide-open chords played during the chorus/refrain!
The guitar solos are excellent, too!
There we go, I was just thinking about you a couple of days ago. A great way to start your morning.
As always, thanks! Really enjoyed Jelle in the mix!
Haha thanks! I'll relay that to Jelle!
Thanks Jim! 🙏🎸
Lekker hoor !!
As always, incredible!
Why does the video look sped up when you play those CHOPZ on the organ? I just wanna know because the movements look unnatural whenever you play those crazy CHOPZ
Can someone explain why the tonality of the organ seems to change on the 3rd chord of each refrain? Somehow sounds more "open" than the preceding two...?
Mate, you are god damn genious! Just 2.6 views are suchs a shame, gonna inform the world!
Hammond is the most powerful instrument EVER!!!!!!!
Hope all is well, it's been some time.
Hey Jim, thanks everything is well. I hope you as well. It's been some time indeed. I happen to be working on a new video at the moment, started filming last Sunday. I'm afraid I'm bound to weekends only these days for my channel :)
Dude youre fucking awesome, no other way to put it
Incredible talent, totally amazing!
Please upload on Spotify 😄🙏
Top sound, Top Music, Top Musicians!!!
great job man !!!
Terrific music. Are you on Spotify? What name do you go under? Do you have a CD? Thanks
Hey Trevor, thanks! I am not on spotify, never really thought about that. I go under the name SjoerdHammond. A bit cliche when I came up with it at 16 years old haha, but the name kind of sticked.
Super👍👍👍👍👍👍
Is that you Patrick?

Love my 1965 A105 and matching Leslie 251! Who needs a B#?
I am so glad I just discovered your channel. You can really smoke that organ man.
Absolutely outstanding. One of my new favorite artists.
Rock it out! You are a pleasure to watch, a grand musician. A master on the b3!
Love your work! Inspires me to sit on that hard wooden bench ;)
Ohh yeah from Costa Rica!
🎵🎵 🎸🎸 🎹🎹
HAMMOND sings awesome, magical.
I miss the 70s. Well done, Sir! Rock on!
Hammond the best sound love it there is nothing that beats that sound
Spotify I need, a real boost for my playlist it would be
Es muy copado el pibe con su variedad de estilos y buen gusto, cero ego y nos da la posibilidad de pasar un momento de perlas...
Managed to get a Hammond L-111 for free in December, people just bought a house and the previous owner left it and they just wanted it hauled away, less a broken black key, a non working draw bar (I read the wire needing to be soldered is the culprit) and the bus bars needing a cleaning it works, I still keep my eyes out for an A100 or similar console organ and a leslie but I'm still trying to teach myself on the ol L
Nice! Great organ to play! I had one myself for some time before getting the A100 in 2013. Good luck!
Great This is the Best video I love IT!!!!!!!!!
Rock and roll lives on!!
Thank you
Well done! 🤘
Long live the Hammond!

Thanks Paul!
Damn good rock singing. Do you have teacher, or have you learnt it alone?
Thanks! I did it alone
@@SjoerdHammond I meant if you learnt this kind of rock singing alone (not this particular song). It seems to me impossible to be that good in singing without really good teacher.
@@janbalaban5268haha I'll take that as a compliment :) I never had a teacher. I did everything by myself from the start. Just trying stuff out. I do have had 10 years piano lessons in the beginning and still have guitar lessons today for the past 8 years
Love your jams man! My A100 definitely doesn't sound that crisp! Have you had any restoration done to the organ and Leslie? Curious to know your Leslie model number.
Thanks! Yes I had the organ restored back in 2015. It has all resitors replaced, new can capacitors and replaced all wax capacitors. The leslie as well, which is a model 251. That 251 is a screamer, love it! I have a 145 connected as well but I don't record that in videos, it's not up to par compared to the 251. In my older videos you can hear it before restauration. However, the recording quality is of signifiantly lesser quality
@@SjoerdHammond I thought so, sounds mint! What's your opinion on the 147 Leslie?
@@lectriclicks I've only heard one once a long time ago but that's a great leslie. My 251 is used as a 147 and is the same size so probably sounds similar
