All the BTOB members ended their contract with CUBE and are now signed under different agenies. Changsub has confirmed that he will continue doing BTOB promotions with the group despite not working for the same agency as the other members. However, Sungjae apparently is now pursuing acting as a career rather than singing and is signed with an agency that has employed him as one of their actors. Therefore, maybe Sungjae is quitting BTOB as he's now pursuing acting.
@@kiramakishima7836 Sungjae isn’t quitting at all! He’s currently filming a drama that’s set to release this year, which is why he hasn’t been joining group activities. He’s still a member of BTOB. Please don’t make such confident claims without fact-checking.
@@Pvna7321 I checked on google to find out about him and according to all the sources I've read there (wiki/mydramalist etc...) I couldn't find any mention of Sungjae continuing BTOB 100% certain. It did say Changsub signed to a diff agency than the others but he is still doing promotions for BTOB together with the group. But there was no mention of the same for Sungjae. If you think Sungjae is still a full-time member, can you provide me with evidence of this? I also did not 100% say I was certain, I said it seems as if Sungjae is not doing BTOB stuff anymore because I couldn't find any mention anywhere of him saying the same as Changsub. If you notice above, I wrote the words 'apparently' and 'maybe' I did not say confidently that he WAS doing such things.

Both Changsub and Sungjae are now under different agencies, while the other four members are in BTOB Company. Changsub is currently on a nationwide solo concert tour (Wayfarer), and Sungjae is busy filming his upcoming drama (Gwigoong). Because of their separate agencies and schedules, it’s been hard to align everything, which is why the recent BTOB concert (Be Alright) only had four members. When BTOB Company announced 'Becoming Project,' some Melodies were disappointed and questioned why Changsub and Sungjae weren't participating and why they weren't using a unit name if it's not a full group comeback. Eunkwang addressed those concerns in his IG live though he didn't have to (our best leader!), and BTOB Company also released a statement regarding that. You can check it on their X official account. I came off a bit aggressive earlier, so I apologize for that. The members are supportive of each other’s schedules, and they’ve reassured Melody time and again-through their words and actions-that they’re still together. You could say 2024 was a year of adjusting to the changes and focusing on solo activities for them (esp Changsub and Sungjae); it’s their first time being in different agencies, after all. Hopefully, they'll make a full-group comeback this year.
