another great video/tutorial ! I bought a 2.5 inch sable hair brush for blending. Have not
used it yet. Just got it yesterday. Wow its soooo soft ! Hoping it gives me a smoother blending effect ! Paint On Brothers and Sisters !!!

The sky and clouds really look very convincingly hot weather. I love how you use the knife to draw clouds. You made it look easy.

This is an open question really, you could do the painting in any colours you like. I did a desert scene once and I used a crimson and sap green mix for blocking in rock shapes then various shades of yellow ochre, crimson, dark sienna mixed with white marbled... Even a bit of bright red thrown in can warm up the area. It's really up to you.
It's definitely one for experiments to see what you like best. Good luck. I might have to try one myself again. ;)

    Very nice painting, Jason.
Noob question - If I wanted to go with a desert mountain scene version of this, what colors would I use to highlight the mountains ? I was also thinking about a night desert mountain scene kinda like in Arizona (they do get snow up in those mountains too).
