Thanks man, that was extremely useful. Tomorrow, I'll be hooking up a digital radio box via the optical connection to my auntie's Bose 321 system, and I needed to get an impression of how this would work.
My question was based on the wrong information. The tech specs of the audio device stated that the device contained a 24 Bit Dac. But I don't know if the optical channel also outputs 24 Bits. But maybe it does (still makes the most sense). Anyways, I tried to connect it yesterday and it works without problems.
4:01 Ok, so yesterday I hooked up digital optical audio to a Bose 321 series 1 (the oldest in line) system. But the menu looks a lot more basic and there seems to be no option to assign the optical connection to Aux/TV/etc. I thoroughly checked the userguide. So you will just have to live with setting the system to Video 1, even when listening to an audio device via that connection (with the series 1, that is). But anyways it works and sounds good, so I'm happy. It was still helpful to get confirmation that I would need to access some of the Bose system's settings via a TV.
Hi need your help please. What type of cable have got and do you connect them. Pictures will be appreciated. I'm unable to have settings on my tv screen. Thanks
hey chris...thanks for this brother. I only use my bose 321 for radio, but I want to boost the bass. So......question.....if I hook it up to an external tv (lets say another auxillary tv used for just the purpose of accessing the audio menu and boost the bass, If after the audio adjustments I was to unhook the external tv and get back to my 321 as a standalone device for just radio...will the settings keep?
i manage to connect bose no ptoblem, i have got sound. but i am not able to find way how to put Bose system setting where i can change Bass Trable etc option. how to do it what do i need to press on tv . i ve got samsung . i can see on bose itself System SEE tv but no blue screen with settings
I just got one on Facebook Marketplace and is doing the same on the HDMI. You going to need to use the other outputs. It sucks, but DVD players like this are pretty much old tech. Also better Blu-ray players can upscale DVD's pretty good.
I am missing the remote for my Bose system. Is there a way to access menu without a remote or by using a universal remote? I programmed a universal tv remote however no buttons bring the menu up. Ultimately I just want to adjust the bass settings…any other way to do this?
What's your opinion I finally hooked up the bose 321ii up to my new 4k tv sounds good. Would a sound bar like the tcl 8+ 2.1.2 be better. Or is the bose still superior?
The giant box, is also a speaker?, o the small 2 boxes are only the speakers?, what’s is the purpose of the giant one?, I have one of that bose preducts

@@chris90367 btw do you know if the optical input from the Bose 321 Series 1 will accept 24 bit (2.0 channel) audio?
