I have this kind of header on my site but it lags anytime I scroll up it willl first bring a wide blank space on the top page before it comes to normal, anything that can help?

It works great on the desktop version, but it doesn't work as well with a slide menu on the mobile version, as when you open the menu it gets cut off by the size of the container.
