the tuning on this song is absolutely INSANE! it really destroys all the things people say about vocaloids sounding robotic and stale, specifically meiko and kaito. their voices in this song are absolutely gorgeous and complement each other beautifully. there's so much grace and power to the way they sing this song that it's hard to even imagine that people say they're "failed" vocaloids
It's stated "failed" not in their voices. But In their marketing. They didn't do so well in the V1 series and it wasn't until Sometime In V2 thanks to Miku and especially V3 when they started to do better.

This song is one of the reasons why I like Kaito's voice so much because it shows just how flexible his range is, no matter which loid he's paired with he sounds great. And if both voices are tuned by someone who's really good the song becomes amazing.

my biggest problem with MEIKO is that her voice is sometimes too loud and kinda bothersome in most songs i hear of her, even in Change Me she doesn't sound that great but makes up for it with the rest of the song. i hear a lot that it's because of the tuning, and can't do things other cryptonloids can. this song however presents what she is truly capable of, tuned well, doesn't sound robotic in the slightest, all the notes hit just right and it's not out of her range, it utilizes something miku can't do at all which is sounding like an actual adult, and the best of all, it blends in with KAITO's voice perfectly who is also tuned amazingly in this song. THIS is how you use MEIKO properly.

my biggest problem with MEIKO is that her voice is sometimes too loud and kinda bothersome in most songs i hear of her, even in Change Me she doesn't sound that great but makes up for it with the rest of the song. i hear a lot that it's because of the tuning, and can't do things other cryptonloids can.
this song however presents what she is truly capable of, tuned well, doesn't sound robotic in the slightest, all the notes hit just right and it's not out of her range, it utilizes something miku can't do at all which is sounding like an actual adult, and the best of all, it blends in with KAITO's voice perfectly who is also tuned amazingly in this song. THIS is how you use MEIKO properly.
