This was the best I could find doing a quick google search, and the main reason for me making this video was to show the audio track. Last year my school orchestra was playing. I was in a different class and didn't get to play this piece, but got some unexpected entertainment. There were 2 7th graders in front of me, and about a minute into the song they began to mimic the movements of the soloist and giggling at each other. 3 minutes into the song, when the rhythm changed, they began to not only pretend to play the violin, but bounce to the rhythm in their seats! I'll never forget the look on my orchestra teacher's face...
We're playing this song at our concert on Wednesday! I noticed I had this song on my old playlist for orchestra music and I was like "this is the song I always listened to when I was in 7th grade!" 😂 now we're actually playing it. wow... didn't think it would happen. 😁

i am a cello player and we played this last year in my high school orchestra so my favorite part is 3:00 to the end just cuz it is so fast and exciting
@thencaesarfalls yeah our directors from last year at my school payed him to come up since it was their last year and the violins got a master class where he taught them stuff, hearing him play was something i just wanted to stay around becuase it was so great

Janey Layton personally i think the violin 2 part is pretty good compared to other violin 2 parts its only the beginning that can get a little boring, but we’re definitely needed

That’s okay, I’m playing this is an orchestra too. Here is some help. Subdivide at 32nd notes =144 bpm and slowly go faster if you are having trouble with the rhythm. Play note by note at a time for intonation (in tune). Do not play at this speed until ready.
The photo for the video is so wrong. First of all~>> that violin looks so fake, The bow is being held wrong, and finally THAT WRIST IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL.
Don't focus on the picture (although his hand just got worst thanks to his "pizza" wrists). Seriously, though they teach you this in middle and elementary school.
it really isnt that hard. im a recent high school graduate and i learned that solo in about a few days. just practice shifting between the third, fourth, and fifth positions.
