Can’t wait to try Dragon thread. I would encourage considering using biodegradable cardboard in the packaging, like what was used long ago for ribbons. Thanks Kelly and Allie.
Thank you Kelly and Allie! Two of my most favorite UA-cam beading channels!!! Also, thank you for the thread info. I like working with the Dragon Thread as well.
Thank you both on this very informative video about dragon thread. I bought all the colors but I didn’t know the background. I also learned about the pulling the thread by hand vs needle. I never knew this. Thanks for sharing this -
My two favorite people in one video! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ You both are Awesome and Amazing! I loved this video and watching you both. Kelly, I am one on many top Followers that watches the streams and communicate with Allie a lot. Allie and her husband are friends with me on Facebook and Allie knows me well. Been beading for a little over 5 years and I can't get enough of her. I wish you did more streams and videos too, but I understand about the amazing support you have to have for that. Anyway it was nice seeing you both and I will tell Allie how much I loved it as I am telling you now! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank-you so much Kelly for doing this combo presentation!. When I first heard of Dragon thread I thought "ok another thread, big deal". But listening to Alie of PB explain it's attributes has opened me up to trying it. Lots of good tips as well! Thanks again!!
Thanks Kelly and Allie, for this little presentation. I learned a lot about the new Dragon thread and am excited to see it come out in new colors. I'm especially taken with the new smaller spools of the different sizes because I have a terrible lack of space right now. It's so easy to just drop the spools into my thread case and know I'll easily find them for the next project.
I am hooked on this thread. It’s thin, silky, easier to thread needles and does not continually knot. I’ve used it on a couple of projects and I’m a fan. Kelly and Allie together, yay! Appreciate the tips. Thanks to both of you.
Thank you Kelly and Allie for an informative presentation. I've bought some Dragon Thread but haven't tried it yet. After hearing this I can't wait to try it. Will have to stitch up something in Herringbone!
Just started using today. Really like the way the green “disappears” in the project. First impression - really strong, not stiff. No tangles. No color on fingers. Bought two mega meter rolls to try.
I like it because it allows dangle projects to hang better, and it's thinner and easier to use smaller beads like the charlottes. I'm totally in love with it.
Thanks for sharing. I hope this is available in the U.K. I like Fireline for most things and Nymo and KO for other projects, especially where a fringe is involved. Nymo splits and knots like crazy even after I condition it. Can’t wait to try Dragon Thread. And my tip for using old spools after all the thread is used up: use them as bangle or bracelet mandrels if you wire wrap, which I also do. 🙂
Thanks for the details on this new thread. Can you talk about whether it has any stretch. Some beaders recommend using Nymo on the cone for beadwork that needs to have a little stretchy-ness. Of course this is not always a desirable feature. Thanks
Thank you so much for sharing, I am interested to know price and shipping expenses to Toluca, México. Where can I order? Do you have the correcto needle to use with?
I wonder if it would have been handy when I was using size 18 & 24 cut beads that I used for my Native American Indian beadwork? Lol I am trying to save some money to try this product...
Hey, Allie! Does the white thread appear as sheer as the "crystal" version of fireline and wildfire? If not, I'd like to suggest a crystal-typed color. Thank you KINDLY!!!💖💖💖💖
I'd really like to try this thread, but I think there's something wrong with your website. Although the items appear to be in stock, I can't seem to add anything to my cart. I tried sending you a message, but I keep getting an error message. Is there another way to contact Potomac Beads? Thanks!
It's still a plastics based thread. Plastics always get brittle with age, so can't be trusted for projects to be sold. Also all plastic is environmentally unsoud.
Thank you Anne for your concern. This beading thread (Like fireline & wildfire) is actually more durable then a fibrous thread so it will last longer. We have made strides to reduce the plastic waste that is used for the packaging of this product (Spool size) as well as others. We love to keep innovating and taking customer feedback to make our products better for the consumer as well as keeping the environment in mind.
I have a subscription to Potomac Beads large bead box. I got a sample of the Dragon Thread in green I believe. I really liked it. I bought the white and i am very unhappy with it. It was not the same as the sample I tried. It traveled, was slippery. Just not happy at all. I don't get it though.
Silk or any other material would wear or degrade over time too. Even metal wire made of gold or silver would fatigue and break over time too. All physical things break down over time, especially with movements flexing the material. Even crystals would breakdown if left out in the elements. Its the ionic bonds that make them so strong, but not impervious to wear. Convalent bonds arent nearly as stong as ionic and most substances are covalent. I think if this string is thinner but has the same strength as fireline then its clearly the best choice of the options available with science atm 🎊😊🥳
Thanks so much Kelly for having me! It was so much fun to hang out and we need to get together on a project :)
Have you thought about recycling the spools? Have people send empty spools an reload them. Possible?
Can’t wait to try Dragon thread. I would encourage

Thanks for sharing Dragon Thread with Allie! Great to see you together!

My 2 favorite designers on 1 show! I have dragon thread but haven’t used it yet.

Great presentation Kelly and Allie! Thanks a lot for this important information. I love you both.
Thank you Kelly for bringing the information about this new beading thread, it was very interesting
Thank you Kelly for doing this video with Allie. It was awesome and I learned a lot. Love you ladies and I will be trying the dragon thread as well.
I've used the Dragon Thread and I love it. Just ordered the big spools.
This was so fun to see 2 of my favorite beaders! This should be a thing on a regular basis within the YT beaders.
Thank you Kelly for inviting Allie to do this video with you. I hope to see more of the two of you together soon.
So glad to see you ladies on the same you tube feed. You are both great jewelry designers and teachers!
Thank you Kelly and Allie for an informative presentation. I've bought some

I first learned about the secret of green thread and the way it disappears from Allie. Like green a lot. Can’t wait for the beige dragon thread.
I have a tall long legged husband and son so I use my spools as furniture leg lifters.
This might be a tip I can use!
Great idea!
I told Allie that I love .005 white for everything so far. This thread is nearly invisible on the sides when doing brick stitch. Great product! Thx

Thank you Kelly I got my question about dragon thread answered.

Thanks so much for this information and thanks to Allie for creating this amazing thread!! Just placed my order online!!
I'm really excited to try this new thread!

As far as I know it has no stretch. I’ve been working with it for a few weeks and haven’t had any stretching issues.

YAAAAYYYYYY!!!! Thank you SO MUCH!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
OMG my two favorite beading people!
This was a great introduction to Dragon Thread...my question is, do you or should you condition Dragon Thread? Happy Beading!
You do not have to condition
I wonder if it would have been handy when I was using size 18 & 24 cut beads that I used for my Native American Indian beadwork? Lol I am trying to save some money to try this product...
Is the cost comparable to the others?
I like to use my empty beading thread spools as painting pallets for both nail polish when doing my nail art and for my acrylic paints😁

Can you use this with delica beads where you have to make multiple passes?
Absolutely!
Question about dragon thread does it stretch?
Have you used this thread on 3D warped peyote stars?
I personally have not but I've made peyote 3D shapes with them and its worked great.
Greatest crossover since Infinity War.
Allie and Kelly could defeat Thanos.
Muy interesante!!!
