Wilderness Corps Dispatches: Sky Lakes PCT (Part 1)

On our interns' final hitch, they head out for eight days to the Pacific Crest Trail in the Sky Lakes Wilderness. This section of the national recreation trail was covered in blowdown and needed work. After cutting logs for a week straight, the crew takes some time to relax at picturesque Cliff Lake. Their summer may be over now, but their work isn't finished. Stay tuned for part 2 and see if a small crew of staff can maintain the rest of this trail within the Sky Lakes Wilderness.
